I just lurve Mine Yoshizaki's work. Who he? He's the guy behind Keroro Gunsou.
OS Idol Win chan is a creation of Yoshizaki-san and as far as I know shes only been featured in some illustrations. Wouldn't mind seeing her as an animated version though. And how about a Mac chan?
The curves are not as sharp and defined as I would like and she is a bit on the pink side but her cute pose makes up for that. Have you seen another figure pose like this?!
The base is a Win chan CD and at first I though that there were some goodies on the CD until I found out that it was just a dummy.
The packaging is gorgeous. I usually throw my boxes away but this one is made of plastic and can be used for stuff like GFF parts or something.

Have a look for this figure on the following sites.

niiiice! cool figure, although its a bit too skimpy for me to display on my shelf. (-.-;)I'm already getting boped on the noggin' for displaying my narusegawa by max factory. ^^ I wonder if I can trick my girlfriend by telling her that it came as a limited edition freebie from the new windows vista. lol. btw Danny, I was just wondering, but how many figures do you have on preorder? ^^

I hope my Win-chan gets here soon. Will she be disappointed with me because I have no Windows machines right now? ^o^ I'll just have to put her next to my new IntelMac.

There is an OS9-chan. Take a look at this wiki when you have time: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OS-tan

Another figure I will buy because of you, Danny ! I loved her, but I wasn't planning on getting her. Now I know why I loved her, because I love the design of Keroro girls, I should I've guessed she was from the same artist, looking at her eyes (the real ones).

PS: you should add some Keroros avatars :D

She's not kawaii enough to convince me to buy one. I'll just save the money so that someday I'll be able to buy a Candy Girl or a Jewel Rosa. hahahahah :)

Hello,

Love your blog. I found it via Fleshbot like so many others, and I've definitely added it to my daily blog roster.

If you don't mind, I have a question for you:

Have you ever come across a website that shows the process of an artist modeling an original scuplture for a figurine? I'm familiar with both casting and modeling in general, but I'm curious to see an anime figurine in particular being created (hoping to learn some technique).

Thanks! Sorry for such a long comment!

Mac-chan? Yoshizaki's done several, but I don't think they've been seen outside of his doujins or website and I haven't seen any done as figures, darn it. Win-chan has had a lot more exposure thanks to Tech Win.

I bought this the moment I saw it in a comic shop. The only down side is that I think it has spoiled me for all other anime figures. She's a bit more curvy than the more waifish characters that tend to get made into figures, with the possible exception of some of the Iroha figures I have. She's build more like the women I like than most anime figures, so it'll be hard to find others that are curvy enough to top her. The fact that she has such cute (and well-sculpted) toes is a bonus, too. She's the best of my collection... and at $20, that's a deal that's hard to beat!

Just got this today and I'm annoyed by the little things like black smudges and lines (like one right under her breast) and its kinda nerving when you expected much better quality. The rest of her though is great, and i cant tell the bad spots from where she is set anyways.
