Chitose Nambu

Just arrived last week. Chitose Nanbu from Max Factory. While I prefer to choose my figures off the shelf, it can be risky to wait until the release date because more often than not, the figure is sold out by the time I get to Akihabara.

I guess folks dont really have to be familiar with the anime 'Amaenai de yo' to get this figure. You get three different garments with the figure - one where her eyes are fully covered, partially covered and wide open!
The lower garment for some reason is not removable by default and you have to do a few mods which you may have seen on a few sites already.
Have a gander at all the photos to see how I modded mine...

I made a slit behind the lower garment and used a grey Gundam marker to color the slit. The slit makes it easy to remove the legs. The upper body and legs are glued tight so you have to kind of snap her in two! (ouch).
I removed the front part of the belt but realized that I didnt need to and glued it back after. The belt can remain in one piece if you remove it carefully but paint goes come off the lower garment - you can remedy that with some more of that handy Gundam marker stuff.
Didnt include any shots of Chitose with her eyes wide open but if you want some of that then get your booty along to Otaku Goten.

All in all a nice figure but she looks a bit fat with everything on ^^; Another thing is that if you are going to change her garments often then you will find that the paint starts to rub off from her arms and thighs.
Folks in Japan can get theirs at Amazon.
Next gallery will be either the new Igunis (which arrived yesterday) or Kampfer ^o^/~

And another quick word to apologize for the lack of moderation at figure.fm. Some folks have been made moderators who will help out. While we built the platform to scale, we didnt really take into consideration abuse and obviously should have - will fix that in the next version which should be out in December.
First time here?
If you are new here, you may want to keep up with more of the same via RSS or Danny's other networks. (dont show again)

Oh my! Danny took out his can of condensed Chuck Norris soup and disassembled the figure only to reconstitute again! Nice figure Danny. I still stand on my pledge to never buy a figure ever again since my first and last one cost me more than a few flakes of skin =|

Cheers,

I hate the show, it was an awesome waste of my life. The cool thing about this figure is the beads, I suppose. But yeah the character designs are rather fat and ugly.

Ignis, however, is another thing altogether. Looking forward to your Ignis gallery!
