Heres the Armored Core stuff from Friday. I've only played it (cant remember which version) a few times on the PS2 but didnt really get into it. The mechas are cool though.
Speaking of PS2, I got my PS3 secured to arrive on the 11th of November as I didnt fancy lining up and sleeping outside Yodobashi in Akihabara. I'm beginning to wonder if it was a wise choice given the fact that the first release of the PS2 and PSP had bugs in them...

Even though I've got a PS2, the PS3 is a joke. They keep delaying the europe launch and slap on a huge price tag. I rather buy a xbox 360 or wii now.

I want a ps3 (the ps2 is my fave console ever) but im desperately trying NOT to want one.
I pre-ordered a 360 2 months before it came out in the UK, and i didnt get one til a month after the launch date!
PS3 stock in the UK is supposed to be like gold dust, so i dont want to be dissapointed.
The launch games look a bit crap anyway. Ill wait for MGS4

Kudos for securing one anyhoo danny - make sure you post an entry on it when you get yours so we can shake our fists in envy!

Damn danny!! this is the first time I see a nice BEEEEG post on the AC model kits.
I emailed you and put a post somewhere askin if u dont have any info or mabey the modeling sheet on the Mirage C01-GAEA (9th pic down, the AC with the blades) a while ago (because I am in the process of modeling it in 3D). but.... now that I see more pics of it and have looked around for info, I am thinking of just buying it with all the weapon kit addons, the actualy quite cheep (In price that is)

These are neat! do they come pre-painted? It's a must get if they do.

Holy cow

I really want that AC with the blade arms. I love AC but the last one was a failure.

Thanks for the update, Danny.

The best part of AC was being able customize and build the entire mech, look like you can do the same with these kits!

Speaking of PS3 and AC, sure hope that AC4 will be good.

I guess the answer is that no, they are not prepainted- just guessing from looking at the Selena and Cronus sets in the middle pics.

Mm, too bad. I have Cronus (aka Vixen/Stinger) on preorder, but it looks really white without the weathering/panel-lining.

I was into Armored Core for awhile. After i played Zone of the Enders made it look like a joke. Im into the fast battles system. I do admit the mechs in A.C. looks sweet. More realistic than Gundam.

P.S. Gundams are the best anyways ^-^
