ahah my mom does the cleaning so she destroys my stuff...that's why all my stuff is in boxes. nice collection
Hmm... I clean my toys once a month. Dude, that's alotta figures. 0_0;
I truly admire your collection... I'm still in school and don't have the money to get all that. One day...
wow! that's a lot of mechas and figures! probably took you the whole day to clean them up. (^o^) Looks like I have exactly the same perfect grade kits as you, the GP01, MK II and the strike. ^^ guess they're the more popular ones around. a quick question tho, about the 1/60 scale Gouf Custom you posted earlier: http://www.dannychoo.com/slide/eng/chara_hobby_2006/2866/photo/Mobile+Suits/ is it a perfect grade or just the standard 1/60 like the lightning edition strike freedom.
I never knew you had a CR Infinite Justice! I guess I missed a post, looks sweet. Nice collection.
Wow, how long did it take to put them on the stairs? Are those all of your figures, or is your office guarded by more figures? Oh and, where's Dororo? I see the rest of Keroro's team, but no Dororo.
What!?! No strike freedom? Then again there hasn't been a decent model of it so far(praying for a MG). If my kits get dusty all I need to do is put them in my powershower, since the panel ink/paint & stickers on my kits are waterproof. The dust'n'dirt comes off straight away, no faffing with a duster required ^^. But can you wash figures with water or will it smear/ruin the paint on them?
It's a tough job, but someone has got to do it... ^_- Same here, I usually use keyboard brush. Well actually a cosmetic brush along with some watercolor brushes, compressed air and micro-fiber cloth. Did you decide to leave ワンダちゃん in their packages?
What an amazing collection you have there. Somehow I have a feeling that's not all that you have. And that Gundam MK II is huge. It's taller than the PG Strike. Is the MK II a MG or PG?
友達にガンプラマニアがいるんです。 彼の収集量は、ダニーさんの家の階段に並べたら二階まで登っていくでしょう…… そのガンプラを並べてた棚が、地震で倒れた時は、おいらももらい泣きしました……
Wow, that's impressive, to say the least. I clean my stuff about once a month, and I agree...those aircans work wonders. Question about the Valkyrie stands Danny. Do you think they'd work for that upcoming Yamato 1/60 YF-19 that's coming out in a couple of months?
whoa. if i were to go up the stairs and i saw all those stuff blocking the way, i'd go back.
you bought 4 of the Keroro platoon but left one(dororo)out? that's not very good =_=
Linc, Have had a hard time getting hold of Dororo ToT CyberSynaptic, AFAIK, Yamato are making all their 1/60 valkyrie line fit that stand. 猫子猫さん、 実は地震があるとき、最初頭に浮かぶのは "ガンプラが心配!" 壊れたらまた作るのちょっとめんどい。 Ken, I do have some more gundam hidden up my sleeve and at work ^^; The Gundam MK II is a PG and probably looks bigger than it is because of the wide angle lens. Edward, Wanda chan was begging to be taken out of their package! Subaruhess, Have not tried dipping my Gundams in water but the top coat should protect the paint... Leo, Took a few hours cleaning off the dust and lining them up ^^ kca, people ask me all the time and I have never bothered to count! Marvin, That 1/60 Gouf is (AFAIK) not a Bandai kit but a garage one. John, "in your womans bra?!"
hahah danny its like you have your little toy army. in a minut they will go and take over the world for you. hahahah :D looks great
thats heaps Danny, cant wait till I have that many.....Im bout half way....My Mom & sisters do the cleaning, but they know NOT 2 TOUCH my figures....I use a compressor....then I just blow the dust off.....its quicker I think!! Nice collection danny, Keep it Up.....=)
Ha ha! I knew there was a stairway to heaven! And it's paved with Gundam models and female figures. XD But anyway, I usually clean my models once a year or maybe once a month depending how I feel.
A thing of beauty...Yea i'll clean off my Gundams about once a week. I like to move them around, put them into different poses...etc. So I see the dust on 'em while im moving them and I just have to clean it off :P
So Danny, how much money you have spent on the total of your toys? About approximate?
Dinh Bang Nhan, Have no idea! Would be interesting to find out I guess.
Hey Dan... are you using an airbrush to paint your collection? I heard Iwata is a good brand... could you tell me how much it sells in Japan? I have a friend who lives there and I'm gonna ask him to buy me one incase he comes here in the Philippines... I also have a toy collection at home... but not as much as you have
So Danny, would they be about $5000 dollar? Or above? I have coolect airplane model kits (unbuilt) I have not build them yet, plus the starwars figures plus some animation figures,. THey all about 3000 dollar already. So your collection maybe far more ahead from mine. Nice to see your master collection.
Dinh Bang Nhan, Erm probably!? Phrozhen.Khold, I cant quite remember now but everything should be in the FAQ, http://www.dannychoo.com/blog_entry/eng/505/FAQ/
Me? I clean my figures never at the moment, but they will get done about this time next week, due to me re-arranging my room a bit. Best to do it then, eh? As for your stairway, it's very sweet, Danny! I would also ask where the world you put the boxes that come with these? O_O Lastly, I tried counting my figures (all females), and lost count after 62. I'll need to do a re-count! ^_^
Danny San, Despite of using a wide angle lens, the Gundam Mk II looks still a little taller than the Strike. Can you tell me the difference in height in cm? greetz.
How long did it cost you to collect and build/paint all those?
I tried to count again......I think altogether you have about 65 plus/minus......thats heaps Danny!! Do you keep some at work aswell?
very very nice... I hope to join that stairway~~ the 12" Fujiko Mine. is it DX or DX ver 2.0??

I always thought it was really tacky to keep anime figures in an enclosed glass case...but after seeing all the dust that accumulates in almost every crevice I want one now. Trading figures are a HUGE pain to dust it's almost not even worth owning them.
I hope to go up these stairs one day
Wow! You have ... a lot! :)
No Deathsythe Hell Custom???!!! That is defiantely not how my Staiway to heaven looks like ;p
I do my cleaning once a week for FIGURES ONLY!! XD my room in general only gets once a year XD haha =3
