Taking a break from the event shenanigans to take a quick peek at the catch of the day and a word of warning....
Got my hands on the Crossbone X3 before its official release tomorrow and picked up HCM Pro Sazaby at the same time. Decided to pick up 1 of the X3 and a good thing too...
The X3 - totally happy with this - colors, slightly different upper body mold and weapons make it worth getting even for those who own the X1.
The X3 also contains parts for an X1 Kai but is probably not worth getting unless you have a few quid knocking around. If you have the X1, you can just get one X3 and you will find that the upper parts will fit onto the legs of your X1 (as pictured here).

The "Full Cross" (フルクロス) parts (those thingies hanging off the shoulders) dont fit properly onto the shoulders and just rest there - same for the parts around the neck - very very disappointing. If you are willing to use the super glue then you would get enjoyment out of this but otherwise you would be rather miffed indeed.
And to answer a previous question - the X3 does come with the cloak that you see in the X1 gallery.
The HCM Pro Sazabi is not as articulate as previous HCM Pro releases and needs some mods which I'll cover soon. Will probably use the no-paint technique on this.
First time here?

Wow great figures! I totaly dig the Sazabi figure. Crossbone looks kickass! Gotta get my hands on these figures as soon as I get more money. I'm broke because I just spent a lot of money on models and hobby supplies, lol.

X-3 looks sweet, but I think i'll wait for the MG release! For the UK Gundam fans I would suggest either www.HLJ.com or www.1999.co.jp/eng.
1999 is a bit cheaper than HLJ, but they shipped my last order in one big box which cost me nearly £50 in import duties, where HLJ would normally split the shipment into smaller boxes which would save u cash.

I'm rather surprised about the full cross parts. I've come to expect better from the GFF line. Then again, I always assumed that everyone treats them in the same way, constantly fidgeting and placing them in different poses. Thanks for the heads up on the X3. Looking forward to more on the Sazabi. It looks a little plain straight from the box.

Hey Danny. Great pics as always. That FIX Crossbone X-3 looks great. I've got a question about the HCM-Pro Sazabi though. Does it come with the usual weapons pre-attached to hands, or did they do the same thing to this HCM-Pro that they did with the HCM-Pro Jagd-Doga Gyunei's Custom (which is finally having weapons you can take out of the hands)?

I didn't think there was anything wrong with the Sazabi (got mine yesterday). Point of note I'm actually selling my two fix figs cos I think they are a pile of bantha popoe.

Surface detail (warning markers, great), but physical surface detail is right poo! I compared my HCM Strike freedom against my fix fig Strike freedom, and needless to say that it and the destiny are destined to find a new home on eBay shortly.

Fix fig are utter crap, I'm annoyed I got suckered. HCM Pro forever!
