Was in the convenience store getting some grub when I noticed these things on the shelf – a closer look has me discovering that you can now buy cans of oxygen along with your bread, milk and idol magazines...

The product name is O2 Supli and contains about 35 puffs (each puff being 2-3 seconds) of oxygen.
Both products are aimed at folks who are stressed out - could be because of blog content that gets on their nerves besides other things. The green can has a minty taste and “refreshes the head/brain” while the blue can “refreshes the body”.
The price is 600 yen per can.

I love this part "could be because of blog content that gets on their nerves" it made me laugh. If you put some kind of fire source in front, is it going to do a flamethrower because oxygene is flamable?

Only in Japan will you find cool new experimental products fit for public consumption. Can't wait to sample all cool and quirky new products!

Here's a lil tidbit of info. Flavoured air/oxygen is a common activity among Middle Easter People. A Shi sha (sp?) is similiar to a bong in which you can choose from a variety of fruits to inhale Fruit Flavoured air thru a tube.

I always get a good laugh from such products one could only find in Japan. Thanks Danny! Oh ya, go Danny go! (^_-) I love your comment "Both products are aimed at folks who are stressed out - could be because of blog content that gets on their nerves besides other things." Someone could give them one of those idol magazines! That would solve their stress problems. What am I saying... They would be complaining the pages are to shinny, it gets on my nerves. (^_-)

Hmmm, I've heard that pure oxygen is corrosive to the lungs. I wonder how much "flavor" there is in the container.

hmm interesting.reminds me of a scene from spaceballs(starwars parody)where mel brooks takes a hit from a can of "perri-air",but it's rather scary.where will this sort of consumerism end.

on a different note the health service here in the uk are trying to get men to admit the size of their, well, manhood so manufacturers can make condoms available in a wide range of sizes.all this will avoid S.T.I's if a condom falls off.

well i thought it was funny.

Hmm I have to wait for the poll to fully loaded b4 clicking else it automatically causes error to IE and closes the window. Not a big deal but just FYI.

Anyway inhaling boss fart might mean the next promotion is on the way ?!

BTW, I've been making many CSS changes over the site and none of the browsers (FF/IE MAC/WIN) seem to load the CSS sheet properly.

If the site is looking funky, please do a force refresh of your browser cache with shift+reload or F5+reload to reload the new changes that I've made.

Will be making many changes over the next few months so you may want to do a periodical force refresh.

Wow! So, it is finally available for the masses. When I lived in LA a few years ago, the trendy thing was "oxygen bars". There was one on Sunset Blvd that we used to go to after a night of drinking and club hopping. I think it was owned by Woody Harrelson from Cheers.

Any way, breathing in pure oxygen would give you a little kick and clear your head a bit. It came in various scents. It wasn’t that bad actually. I don’t know why any one had not thought of it sooner. There goes another idea someone beat me to.
