Hmm... I like that Mai Tokiha kit. It gives me the urge to start building figure kits again. Your right, it does take some practice. This definitely would be a difficult kit to build. Well, in the time being, I will wait for the Igunis figure. Maybe I will get it for my birthday. Hope hope hope...

Thanks for the links Danny

That 'No gaijin' site is quite interesting. I like Japan, but I'm always surprised at some of the treatment I get (in shops, etc.) for being a blue-eyed blonde when I'm there. Somewhat irritating. I never get that here in Korea...

The 'no gaijin' thing is one of the less-favorable aspects of Japan, IMO. I think it's really time that as a country, society started to move forward. We can only hope though. -.- I've read your accounts on how hard it is to find living in Japan and I have to agree, there are some pretty rude people (especially in Tokyo).

As for the site lists what's with the 'girls blog' thing? That's funny but kinda creepy somehow. lol.

Maybe I have been lucky. I have not had many bad experiences in Japan, compared to everyday life here in the states. Sometimes, I do get some odd treatment, but I often feel it because people are worried about language. Maybe I'm wrong... Then again the Japanese are people too. You will always meet, well, jerks wherever you travel. As westerners we are not use to getting racially prejudice treatment; we are use to giving it to others. (^^;)

I agree, it would be nice to see it stop. Then again, I'm too often seeing Americans behaving in ways that want me to HIT THEM. Then be polite and say, go home! (^_-) So... I have a little trouble blaming the Japanese for the way they are thinking.

Regarding the "No foreigners" signs: there surely must be a reason for the fact that many (most ?) of those signs are in Russian, although there are more English-speaking foreigners than Russian-speaking ones in Japan. I suspect that it hasn't got anything to do with racism as such, but with
a certain group of people always causing trouble...
