I know there are mixed feelings re MG Gyan amongst us but I'm sure many of you Gyan haters will like the modifications done here. This is how I would like to do up my Gyan and doesnt look too difficult.. ^^; And I do prefer this color scheme to the default purple.

Actually i love the original gyan since i am a big 0079 fans, and this mods has put a modern spin on the classic looking MG gyan. The color scheme adds a lot of realism to the overall presentation. This is simplicity at its best, the idea is excellent and the mods r not over-done. Neat and clean i love it~

But i sure hope if the modeller can somehow find a way to intergrate the infamous gyan beam saber to this more updated style; it will be very interesting and worthwhile to see i am sure :)

For some reason...I just can't grasp the thought of someone disliking the Gyan. The Gyan is probably one of my favorite mobile suits from any Gundam series...the only other mobile suits that come close to being my favorite are the Quebley and the Gouf. I seem to have thing for chunky, one-eyed mobile suits...

im not a Gyan "fans", but this mod is far more better than the original, especially on the color.

It looks somewhat better but still looks silly despite the mods.

A cool looking "knightish" mecha with simple lines would be broken labor from patlabor.

5SS are cool but they are too ostentatious, more like ornamental armor rather than something which you will field to slug it out with ur enemy.

I don't like Gyan!!! Gyan is more like an old time warrior than a MS. It seem to be a giant wearing warrior armor and fight with RX-78. I don't like it!

Any way, this modeller know how to play with the line. The construction of the line and the colour scheme making this Gyan seem to be more MS look(a little bit like GFF/ Zeonography)than a cartoon. The best part is, this Gyan have no big warrior saber but a big canon instead. Overall, this model is cool. I like it.

Sorry for the double post but it cut my post short! T.T

Anyway I wanted to just say that the Gyan only gets a bad rap cause it lost against the Gundam in like 5 minutes....but so did everything else! lol

When my MG Gyan gets here sometime next week im gonna order a Gyan High-Mobility Type conversion kit from G-System! ^_^

The GYAN looks great! But I think that Bandai is starting to get "chincy" with the way the models are produced. Many pieces are now molded as one to save plastic but that creates imperfections like seams =|. In light of that, they are reducing the waste seen in earlier MG/PG kits so its a good thing too!

Cheers

I have started this hobby not very long ago. Perhaps I have to somewhat grow into this 'world', so following question may be odd/ stupid for a few.

As a fan of the Cosmic Era I am a fan of the original Strike and Freedom Gundam.
My question is about the Freedom Gundam. Although the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom looks cool, I like the original Freedom much more. Is Bandai ever planning a Perfect Grade kit for the Freedom like they did with the GAT-X105 Strike?
