I dont know about you but when I establish my own business the last name I'd call it is something like Balleggs. How, Who, What on earth was the owner thinking? This is an estate agent I spotted a while ago where the Japanese name of the establishment is actually pronounced "Balekks" but they decided to spell it as "Balleggs".
I would classify this as Engrish (kind of) and you can see more of it at Engrish.com - some very good ones there ^^

This reminds me of the (finance?) company レイク ('Lake') renaming itself ディク (Dick). I have a childhood of horrors to attest to that not being the best name to choose.

Yikes, what an unfortunate name. Today's poll seems to be geared towards seeing what percentage of the viewers are male or female.

Kind of reminds me the debacle with milk drinks by Calpice. People would basically pronounce it like "cow piss" hence the change in name to Calpico.

Perhaps, it's an attempt at the british slang word, 'bollocks'? Just my 2 cents :)

Wait wait, isn't that inverse engrish ?
I still find it very original, and great for a name (who said sarcasm ?).

Maybe it's the name "varech" (seaweed in french), with an s at the end and badly spelt ?

Okay, I need a rest I guess...
