OK, so we've seen a bit of Strike Noir here and there including at the TAF and I thought we would have a look at the prototype cast thing in this months Dengeki Hobby and Hobby Japan.
Kind of difficult to look at as the surface has grooves all over it and wonder why these mags were not able to get hold of a proper model...

By the way, how much do you know of the Gundam Seed film announced recently ^^ (not talking about stargazer).

cooool, actually not very much like all the other strike hero gundams - what a breath of fresh air. at least not blue, at least. Like the backpack - and in fact wouldn't mind if they can keep some of those cool grooves in some of the parts! :)
(yes i know that's the results of prototyping but would be cool to have so much detail wouldn't it? :))

interesting, but it does not have the elegance that other MS have. Take for example the Akatsuki or the Destiny.

It's Nice, but I'm not really a fan of Stealth looking Gundams.

Bet someone makes a MG Strike Mod before too long.

I actually love the Strike Noir's design. I love how the beam swords are incorporated into the wings like they're concealed weapons (same reason I like the DRAGOON system on the Strike Freedom). I also love the color scheme and the dual handguns. If you guys didn't notice, they show the Buster Kai and Duel Kai in one of those scans.

Good looking model. But seriously, Bandai needs to put out some cool MGs. The Gyan is nice, but lets see some new stuff. Destiny MS is what I wanna see.
(ID #37004) Posted on 2007/01/02 01:11
The new strike design doesn't grab me as much as the new Buster and Duel designs. I might wait for the latter to come out as far as this series goes. It still looks better than I expected though.

With that texture, kind of makes it look like it is made of wood.

What a disappointing design..... they should have design something better! Will have to wait for a better design for months again.......

I really like the Strike Noir design, cant wait to see it in action. And as far as the Gundam Seed movie.... "Sunrise has announced that a new Gundam SEED film is in the works. ANS reports that it's going to be the first original (i.e., non-recap) Gundam movie since Gundam F91 debuted fifteen years ago. As for directing duties, they'll be taken care of by Mitsuo Fukuda. ( http://www.theotaku.com )" By the way does anyone know what the Stargazer Gundam will look like?

Looks Sweet! i see people dont like the backpack/wings. I love it! I also love the dark stealth look to it. And the second last page looks like drawings/sketches of a new possible buster and duel. maybe they will make them into maodels alos!

I donno...it looks rather...uh like a whale. those wing binders are just very iffy to me. Very untactial. the original strike always took the cake, only if it had the noirs paint skeem.

Being bought up as a sniper in the fields of Unreal Tournament, Call Of Duty, Halo, Couter Strike, Ghost Recon & Battlefield 2. stealth is a good way to fight a war. my speciality is stealth with headshot akurasey with a sniper rifle. if this gundam was UBER stealth'd then that would be kinda cool :) dont get enuff of that kinda stealthy sh*t in mech designs. unless u count deathsythe from Gundam Wing (even though he was ALWAYS in stealth mode!) this gundam gets a 10/10 for me

Definitely an improvement from the tired recent designs from Gundam Destiny. Why make another Destiny story OVA when you have the excellent Gundam Hazel storyline to promote? Plus the Hazel Gundam timeline occurs at the Golden Age of the Gundam saga- just right at the start of Zeta.

hey Danny

I know this is a very late comment, but nonetheless. I saw the Strike Noir without the grooves and lines, and I got to tell you, the grooves and lines make it look much better. I can't explain it, but I will groove the hell out of my Noir when it gets here. Kudos
