Managed to pop in to Sakuraya during a lunch break to get hold of the God Gundam and Nobel Gundam pack - luckily I had an early lunch because by the time I paid for my goodies, all boxes labeled "Gundam Fix Figuration #0029" had gone. Good thing I went on the day it came out too!
I'm not sure if this is a new landmark for the GFF series. Are bandai now going to have two figures in the box instead of swappable armor? Are the up n coming GFF figures going to be as posable as this god gundam? Dont know but this release is a great one at a bargain price of 2,925 yen. Gallery coming soon.
Folks in Japan can get theirs at Amazon.co.jp.

Sneek preview of the up n coming gallery. The gallery will be split into two though.

Picked up this months hobby mags with my new GFF catch. Packed with Gundam goodies as usual.

Polls
It's always satisfying to get the last of whatever you're getting, it's also quite relieving that you got it cause someone else could've gotten before you and do who knows what to it! I can't wait to see the gallery on these Gundams Danny, God Gundam was one of my favorites and still is.

As for the poll; I really don't think I can vote for any of them since I don't know how to order them and I don't have enough money to even buy myself a pair of clean boxers. -_-'

Well at least they packaged God & Nobel together. That way closet Nobel fans can safely buy her without fear of persecution. Been awhie since I bought a FIX Figuration.

Hmmmmm, Usually a sucker for any new Fix Figuration, but really not into this set. Don't like Chick Gundams and don't like the color schemes. Too many other toys to buy like the Calamity Dog Zerberus VR-Maxima Limited Edition I just ordered from HLJ!! http://www.hlj.com/product/CMS65053
Got mine ordered too. I'm shocked that they have 2 full gundams in the kit instead of swapable stuffs and at such a low price.

Well, it's cool that you don't need to buy two sets it you want interaction between G-FIX Figures in a box. It's not cool that they picked something as dumb looking as the Nobel Gundam. I mean, the God Gundam could have come packaged with the Master Gundam! That would have been worth buying!

I may be wrong, but from what I see and hear, "Gundam" is pretty much DEAD in the states. Sluggish toy and model sales, plus the DVD's aren't doing that great. I don't think it ever really "took off" here like Bandai would like everyone to believe.

JustinC in Calgary,
I think it's quite nice because it comes with two gundams.
(ID #36886) Posted on 2007/01/02 01:23
Sorry for the double post Danny but Final Fusion, that's where you're wrong. If you go to any torrenting devices they use to have thousands of people downloading Gundam SEED Destiny like crazy when it was being aired. Now I only seen the Destiny line-up so I wouldn't know about the other series.

Another note is that they sell their little "toys" online and they sell out on the models like mad especially at the prices they're selling them at.

And about the other series of Gundams; is that they're purchasing them online instead of walking into their local Best Buys and purchasing them mez thinks.

That's my two cents...

I agree, I live in canada and have been downloading gundam online fansubs since 1997 cause if you have ever seen MSG or gundam Seed dubbed (arg! english lacus!) you tend to stay away from crappy americanised gundam stuff.
I mean I buy a MG online for $50 or spend $91 at my local hobby store you do the math.
Like many North American fans I consider myself a true gundam fan, in other words I support the asian heritage of it, I don't supprt crappy dubbs and the crappiest model kit promo campian ever when the wing kits came out.

even the vid game side is tragic when good games like lost war chronicles, climax UC or project pegasus don't make it over and games like gundam vs. zeta don't even have a jap. sound option even soul cailibur II has a jap. option.

well thats my RANT!

I would love it if there were 2 releases instead of extra armor, this way that extra armor wouldnt be wasted. Often times it is very difficult for myself to decide which armor or variation to choose, such as the Mudrock or GPO5, or the Hyaku shiki versus the Hyaku shiki Kai. However, I wish for a first run at this they had chosen a more popular gundam pair such as Wing Zero Custom with Talgeese III or something instead of God Nobel, however I am a collector of the entire series so I will be picking these up.

The Nobel Gundam alone is worth the price they're charging for this release, the God Gundam is just icing on the cake. I always thought Nobel was cool because it was something a bit different. It also seems like the God Gundam is missing a few things (hyper-mode ring, and opening calf thrusters). It's good to see that they improved the artculation on the FIX line. Hopefully they keep up that trend with future FIX/Zeonography/Cosmic Region figure that are coming out.

Hey, gonna fire off a couple of noob questions at you. First, WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR STUFF!? I want to get the fix gundams so bad, but i want to buy them at a place that won't rip me off. Second, how many figures are there in the fix collection? You have them in a big shelf, but I dont know if you have them all. Plz either answer them for me or direct me to a page where I can my answers (a link would be awsome).
