I'm getting loads of mail every week and while I do answer some of them, I cant answer them all. Please dont get the wrong impression of me if I dont reply ^^;
Gathered the most popular questions and put them in this FAQ which I will be updating as I get more of the same sort of questions...
  1. I have questions about top coat, the colors you used for your Strike and other Gundam questions.
  2. Where can I get hold of Japanese toys and figures online?
    • Erm, doing a search is a good start - if you dont find what you want, try the right column on Figure.fm - ads for online shops usually crop up there.
HobbyStuff4U is also the other recommended place. While the catalog does not seem to update much, I know they can get hold of anything if you contact them and their response is good.
  3. Can you buy stuff and send to me - I can pay you an extra 10 dollars on top.
    • Hmmmm. Tough one but I think maybe no.
  4. Can you translate something for me?
    • Hmmmm. No. Try online tools like Excite.
  5. Where can I get stormtrooper armor?
  6. Where can I *not* get stormtrooper armor?
  7. Why are you now blogging less compared to the previous 7 times a week?
    • I want to spend time bringing you more original content - photo galleries, idol events, how-to-blah-in-Japan etc. Quality - not Quantity ^^.
I also want to spend time adding new features to the site. Theres still a ton of stuff that I still owe you like the wallpaper generator, your Amazon store etc.
Soon you will be able to create an account where your profile details/personalized icon will be used in the forums and comments for the posts. You are also going to see more Ajax based features on the site and I need to make time to brush up on those skills.
  8. I hate you. Grow up. Stop spending your money on toys.
    • Thanks! leave a note under the hate mail category.
  9. I'm coming to Japan and want to buy coolsome stuff - can you recommend me some shops?
    • Get your booty down to Akihabara in Tokyo on the Yamanote line. Get out of the station, take some pictures of the maids and wander around - there you will find and endless amount of figure, ero, gundam and gadget treasure.
  10. When is Blah Gundam coming out?
    • Could be sometime soon I guess.
  11. How do I get tickets for an idol event?

Here's some tips for people who are going to post on Danny's site (Sorry Danny for being too pushy on the n00bs, and for going out of my place, but it needs to be done):

1) People need to take time to research something on their own. I'm sure as hell that Danny get's tired of answering the same question over and over again.

2) Take the time to read things carefully, don't just go off like an idiot asking questions that have already been answered on Danny's site, other people will laugh at you. Don't skip parts on posts that Danny took the time to write up on his busy schedule. He does this to help you or keep you informed, not to make you sleepy.

3) There are forums online that have answers to what you're looking for such as building Gundam models, or model releases. There's also 2 other magical places known as google and yahoo, try searching there first. You would be amazed at what you could find, it's magical!

4) To any idiots who send hate mail to Danny: Please shut the F**k up, I mean it in the sincerest of ways... ^_^ You may talk all you want and might try to say that your better than Danny, but the reality is you can't compare to Danny. Hell if you think you can do any better, let's see your chimpanzee-like I.Q make a site as good as Danny's.

I guess that's it. If you really can't follow such steps in Danny's site or online, then you really shouldn't own a computer. People these days really need to read carefully and research on their own.

As for modeling, I have found great techniques for building Gundam models. Such as: Instead of using Gundam markers, or enamel paints for panel lines there's another type of paint you can use. You can also clean up the special paint, even if you are painting panel lines on a painted surface, with or without Top Coat. I'd be more than happy to help anyone who is looking for help on building Gundam models.

Danny I'm sorry for going out of my place.

The reason why some people need to be picked on by cyber bullies is because they need to learn to search things on their own. They should know that they're always gonna read things online. Voices aren't just gonna appear out of nowhere and tell them everything. Search engines were created to make things easier for them. Still people take the easy way by bugging everyone asking the same question over and over.

Here's a tip:
READ PAST POSTS BEFORE YOU ASK ANY QUESTIONS. CHANCES ARE THAT IT'S ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.

If you have time to use the internet, then you have time to search for what you're looking for. If you know how to type, then you can easily use a search engine. It's common sense. I'm not trying to be an arsehole, but people really need to stop being lazy.

Remember: YOU READ ON THE INTERNET ALL THE TIME! SO READ CAREFULLY!

Name, if she's from a series, etc? I first noticed her picture in your gallery, but cannot find her available on any english sites. Would be splendid if there was a way to find more pictures of the character. Thank you so much!

Hi,

My wife and I enjoy reading your blog all the time. We've found several figures we like and end up buying trough your site. We joke about sending you some hate mail thanking you for ruining our finances =) Truth is I'm lucky because my wife is the one that insists we buy some of the figures, I don't even have to convince her. How cool is that?

Take care and congratulation on the new business.

I was just wondering if you know anything about the Gundam Origin series. I live in the USA and I have little exposure to the Gundam Origin series and is sadly left with the cruddy Viz cut version of the series.
From what I know is that they have the Origin series in separate books from 1-15 (so far) priced at around 588 yen each. I was wondering about the big compiled graphic book novels with the price of around 2,835 yen and what numbers from the 1-15 set are in the first, second, and third one already out.

I also found something really disturbing. Is it true that the Japanese version doesn't have color pages in the single 1-15 set, but the Chinese version does have colored pages? I found this out on this blog.

http://gray.ap.teacup.com/applet/kazslog/msgcate6/archive

Do you know if the large Origin I, II, III books have colored pages also?

Much appreciated if you can answer any of my questions.
