Demon Bane originally came out as an adult PC game back in 2003 but since then has made it to books, the PS2 and now anime. The series features cute moe girlies and huge chunky mechas - what more could you want from an anime series heh?
The anime series starts airing on WOWOW on the 18th May and you can get a glimpse of the action by watching the trailer at the official site.
Evangelion is still as popular as ever and here were the goodies on show at the TAF. ...(more)

very cool. I grabbed all I could of the designs from their PC game site way back when they had ads in Hobby Japan. I love the powersuits even more than the mecha.

Yum! Its strange how some anime is derived from a "dirtier" version. I thought it was uncommon but with Wind -A Breath of Heart- OVA, Zeorymer, and now Demon Bane its becoming more of a regular occurance =). Ahh! Exams are coming but on a lighter note I got my airbrush today ^^.

Cheers!

Very Awesome! I like how they've gone back to the more Gundam-esque, that is to say, Chunky, functional, more robotic look with the mecha. The sleek, and/or organic design needs a little break IMHO.

It seems like eroge-based games are great material for anime those days and getting more and more popular...
Surely because the main focus is about the various alive-feel-like characters and a catchy story.
I like the artwork of that one!
