You now know about the new series of Witchblade coming out from Gonzo but you should also know about Samurai 7. They had a few promo movies of this running and I must say that its looking very nice - just imagine a samurai theme with mechas and sengoku style battleships in the sky - well you need not imagine because you can get yourself along to the official Samurai 7 page and have a look yourself. The flash movie is a bit jerky but the animation on show at the TAF was fine n dandy.

Samurais with mecha? remind me of Sakura Wars. Although the OVAs were quite some years back, the quality is really good, especially the soundtrack. Highly recommended for those who haven't watch it.

Frost Winterheim onboard the Hermodr
This is based on Akira Kurosawa's Shichinin no Samurai which I've already seen and enjoyed. I haven't seen Samurai 7 but I can already tell from what I've read and heard that it's awesome. It's on my to-buy list of vids.

This anime is awesome. The artwork, mecha and fights are simply stunning. Two thumbs + two toes up!

Talk about skid marks! If they can keep the action high and talking low, then we will have a winner here!!! Awesome looking anime!! What could be better than mechas, samurai and neo tokyo??
It's not really about mecha and samurai. Those mecha are actually human samurais that became mechanized samurais. Funny thing is, those human samurais can slices up the giant robots like piece of tofu.

Samurai 7's a pretty decent series. Watched only the first six episodes of it. It's pretty hardcore, we see this guy slicing armies of mecha into half with his katana.
