I thought Gyan looked a bit odd when I first saw it years ago but as I started to dig Gundam more, the design grew on me and I now wish that a Fix Figuration for this come out - I'm sure It will only be a matter of time though. But I tell you - I would LOVE to see a Fix Figuration Endless Waltz Wing Gundam. If I get news on one, I'll warn you to prepare spare double layered underpants.

Coming to think of it, you may need spare underpants soon anyway as you'll be getting a report of the Tokyo Anime Fair 2006 where there will be a screening of the new Ghost in the Shell series and other skiddy-pant stuff.

That thing looks pretty nice, reminds me of the Dom Trooper. Might be an early version of them before they added on the new equipment. Other than that, nice.

The Gyan was a melee type suit that was created as a threat against the RX-78. I really like the modification of this Gyan as opposed to the vanilla one which looks rather bland and more like a ballet dancer than a menacing mobile suit.
Thanks for sharing Danny,

Cheers!

This is a way modified Gyan. The Gyan was actually a test suit to replace the outdated Zaku. But after it was destroyed by the Gundam, the Gelgoog was chosen as the Zak's successor.

this Gyan variation is hot. Does the magazine say anything about it? Is it original to this model or is it based on some existing artwork?

The magazine(Hobby JAPAN) say that This GYNN was remodeled from MG DOM by Mr Harry. So this GYANN is his original.

This Gyan is really cool! I like Gyan very much. Being a close combat unit, Gyan reminds me of the medieval cavalier without the horse. The spiked helmet design is unbeatable! I think it's time for Bandai to release the MG version of Gyan. Considering that almost all the Zeon mecha from UC0079 got their MG treatment, Gyan seems to be left out of the crowd...

Well, you're in luck. Bandai announced that the MG Gyan is being released in May for 3675 yen, according to Gunota.

Completely unexpected, Bandai was hinting at a MG F91.. oh well.

Very menacing compared to the HGUC version. Let's hope this will be the same result for the upcoming MG

I can't say i'm afan of this redisign this person's made. Too stocky, too heavy looking, you'd think a MS armed witha sword and a shield with not so effective granades would be slim and light, more like the RX-78, not a Kampfer. I'd much rather have a Gyan Kai or R-Jarja. Atleast they look cool.

The Kämpfer was very fast dispite its bulk. Though i must agree this Gyan is way to heavily armored form something with no effective ranged weapons.

The heavy armor could help it survive getting shot at while moving in to attack.
