The Japanese present a new technology for those who are going bald due to tons of stress from work - Hair Contact. This new technology means that you can keep hairs on yer head *and* continue to stress out at the same time - cool!
Propia have developed a technology where they can graft artificial hairs at intervals of 0.5mm on a thin breathable film - 0.03mm or 30 microns thick. Once the film is in place, one can wash it, comb it and tug on it without it slipping off - it will even stay in place if you tie 5kg weights to the hair (as one may choose to do from time to time).

Hair Contact seems to be quite popular in Japan judging by the amount of money they spend on TV advertising. The technology was also introduced on the Discovery Channel.
You can see Hair Contact in action by having a look at the following videos on the official site. If you're interested in trying some out, all you have to do is contact them...
Now remember folks - Hair Contact can be used on any part of your body - I guess you can put this stuff all over yourself if you wanted to be a wookie...

One question pops up in my mind, how does it come off after you apply it?

But very good stuff, it'll be a great product for a lot of bald/balding people.

I really doubt the performance.
But if it really works, that's a good news to me. I don't need this up to now, but not sure in comming years ... as I am under huge stress now >.

Ok, so here's a thought. If this stuff is permanent and pretty hard to get off, then that girl probably had a hard time getting hair off her finger. I doubt they did that to her physically, but still...that would hurt:)

I saw this product featured on "Beyond Tomorrow" on the Discovery Channel. Having tried previous hair products, that were a big pain, smelly, itchy, lost contact with sweating or shampooing and much more expensive than the $120 every two weeks advertised on the Discovery Channel, I am extremely interested in this product and I think it is absolutely amazing. I can't wait until it is available in my area. My only fear is that when it hits the U.S. market, they charge 300-500 every two weeks.

For the people who did not read the article...it is not permanent. You get a new one every two weeks. It can be easily removed with an alchohol spray. To the guy from Vietnam, yes, you can use it anywhere on your body. My previous post stated $12/2 weeks. It should have stated $120. When applied, it is long. You then have it cut and shaped how you want. You can even cut this hair with hair trimmers without it coming loose, for that crew cut everyone likes so much.
