Some of you already know about the other Starwars saga and how I got my armor. Well for those who do know will also remember the piece of steaming bubbling baboon shite of a blaster that I received with the armor. I got myself one of those Kenner blasters which was cheap and looked OK but still looked a bit on the crap side - I was left with *two* crap blasters!

Decided to make the best out of the situation and removed some bits from the blaster that came with the armor and used putty to mold it onto the Kenner blaster.
I could get a replica but that costs 69,825 yen - could get another set of authentic armor for that price!

This is the Kenner Blaster all plastered up with the new bits under the blaster. I also plastered up the screw holes too.

And this is the finished product looking much more like the original. If you haven't been sent a steaming blaster, you can always make the extra pieces from ply wood which you can pick up from a local store or borrow some from your neighbors fence.

By the way, I haven't forgotten about the Wonder Festival updates - the mecha section is quite large too so I am going to need just that little bit longer (probably tomorrow).

Nice man lol I know I am sound like a geek but I always wanted one of those costumes! Even though I would look rediculous in an outfit like that on the street.
Spatula in Far reaches of the North
Those are meticulously nice details you've added (and subtracted from) the blaster. Away with that dumb orange tip on the blaster muzzle. You ain't in the US! ^____^

Perhaps the orange tip are issued to the storm troopers in training by the Empire? DON'T SHOOT DARTH VADER!

That thing looks great! If you would carry that in the Netherlands you would be arrested in no time, even if it has an orange-tip (or even is completely orange)...

Do they have any regulations regarding "toy" firearms in Japan? I know in Canada that they don't mark any fake firearms with an orange tip like their American counter-parts and this lead to many problems with people getting shot by the police when the carried replica firearms.

Anyways good work on the blaster =)!

Cheerio,

Don't know about the laws re firearms but airguns seem to be readily available anywhere - you can pick them up just as long as you're over 18 (I think).

Whoa thats so cool! I wanted to purchase a AEG but I can't seem to find any distributors within Canada that sell them, and expedited parcels from overseas will get seized from the government if the proper paper work isn't included =|

Cheerio!

Got my hands on the MR blaster on ebay for a decent price! Only downside is you have to reinforce the holster and belt because it weighs 30 POUNDS!
