Never been much of a fan of Asshimar - that was until I got a closer look at this modified version of the HGUC NRX-044 Asshimar. And quite cool it looks indeed - not too sure about the "Zeon Alive" mark on the shoulder though.
For those who dont know, Asshimar makes its appearance in Zeta Gundam - you can see the trailers for the revamped films of Zeta at Apple Japans site.

I want to see the Z Gundam movies!

And the Zeon Alive decal makes no sense whatsoever, considering the Asshimar was a Titans unit, and the Titans had nothing to do with any remnants of Zeon...

Yep, the model is pretty nice, but the Zeon Alive decal kills it for me.

The Asshimar has the Zeon Alive decal because it makes a cameo in the "Advance of Z" series as a Zeon combat suit. The high grade is actually on sale now for about $35.00 CDN for those residing in Canada.

the HGUC asshimar is a highly recommended kit - its stable transformation and gimmicks are its best attributes. the only issues it has it the limited sideways articulation of the legs. i used to have one until i fell inlove with the asshimar - in hcm-pro form.

since the asshimar has some visual resemblance to the dom, maybe the modeller who was thinking the titans having imprinting the "zeon alive" insignia to fool zeon remnants into thinking the asshimar is their comrade?!

F.R.A.M.E. in nowhere you'd want to be
Nice, but I agree with you that the 'Zeon Alive' on the left shoulder is appropriate (the Asshimar is a Titans MS).

hmmm, I just saw this myself last night. The designation ver.A.O.Z. seems to be innacurate. The AoZ version of the Asshimar doesn't look like this. There is a point in the AoZ story when a Zeon Remnant pilot joins the AEUG and fights some Titans Test Members in an Asshimar. I'm pretty sure it was a TTT Asshimar (called 'Keehar') but I'll have to double check. That could explain the Zeon Alive! marking, sort of. *shrug*

2 things i din't like bout mine after i built it:
1) the hands are 3-piece construction
2) the leg joints wear out too fast when transforming
overall great kit though
