Up until now, I have had quite a few requests for wallpaper. I was going to add a section but not sure how much value it will add. Do you want a wallpaper section? If so what resolutions? The wallpapers I was thinking of would be the photos that I take of scenery and figures and not edited screenshots from anime.

Some wallpapers of the photos you take would be nice. :) The pictures are just.. wow!

And widescreen sizes if possible. My laptop is a 17" widescreen.. my desktop uses 1280x1024, but that size is really distorted and I absolutely hate it. Can't wait until I can replace this junk LCD.

Yes please! A wallpaper section would be great. The most common screen resolutions: 1024*768, 1280*1024 and 1600*1200.

A few wallpapers would be great. As for resolutions, I guess the standard ones (800X600, 1028x76, etc) should be fine. I'm running at 1280x800 myself.

a very nice section to add on.
1280 x 1024 for the most recent desktop resolution and in time to come. 1024 x 768 for most LCDs though and 800 x 600 for those still into crt boxes. these should be the most common resolutions.

I would like a wallpaper for my LCD, but i wanted Naru (Love Hina) and Yakumo(School Rumble)and some other ones that you think its cute..

It seems like a great idea. I would recommend respecting the screen size formats from 1024x768 and up. Eventually, if possible, offer PC and Mac formats and normal and wide screen formats
It would be a delight.

I'd say :
4/3: 1024*768 / 1280*1024 / 1600*1200
Wide: 1280*768 / 1440*900 / 1680*1050

And Yes, every picture you'd take could be a must.

(so great to see mugen no ryvius icons ;p )

I personally think it would be a great idea to use your shots in order de create a wallpaper gallery. Please go ahead. Oh, and my desktop resolution is 1440 by 960 pixels in PNG format. PowerBook rulez! Ah, do you Danny, actually intend to invest in the upcoming MacBook Pro, or do you feel like not having a pionneer's soul?

Looking forward for any clue.

Sincerely.

Ah, thinking of it, it would be easyier to spread your photos in a high resolution widescreen ratio and a regular one too, then almost anybody who knows the "fit to desktop" function would be pleased.

Yep, that could work.

Except some of the resolutions use slightly different ratios.. like how 1280x1024 isn't 4:3. So it would be slightly stretched I guess.

No big deal though. :)

Oops, right. I totally agree, I forgot that most computers cathodic displays were using specific extended resolutions based on 4:3, such as 1280 by 1024 born from 1280*960.

That is a great idea, the Mrs. and I really liked the Naru shots you recently posted. Nice closeup with a blurred background out the window, etc. The "real-world" shots like the night-time skylines, etc and other architectural and natural shots around town would be cool too. You have a great photographer's eye for composition and since you don't do post-production work much, I really think that shows how good an artist you are!

i'd agree to this suggestion, i was planning to email you about it but i eventually decided to use the search function to see if a issue like this has been brought up before and i agree.

you should put up a wallpaper section with high resolution wallpapers with sections for anime, japan, events etc

would be nice! respond plllllease danny! :)
