Bandai for some reason are calling their Fix Figuration line of Gundams from the Seed series "Cosmic Region" - Not sure why they have to be so complicated - doesn't add any value what so ever and probably hurts sales as I have seen on quite a few occasion people going into shops asking where the Cosmic Region figures are kept - only to get a deer-in-the-headlights look.
Anyway, following on the heels of Fix Figuration Guncannon at the end of March (well there could be a few releases in between) is the coolsome Destiny Gundam. Me likes the design of Destiny - especially the wings and the two weapons pack behind. Still a bit of a wait until end of March but in the mean time you can drool over this scan from this months copy of Hobby Japan.
Well yesterday was a day of events for us i...(more)

Why is it that that the smaller figures such as fixfiguration and HCM pro kick so much crap out out of there larger counter parts such as HGUCs and MGs as far as looks go. I realise that models have that "put together factor" but seriously all that matters on a model kit is how good it looks porportionally and the posibility. My god with the size of MGs you think they could throw on more panel lines and details (-cept OYW gundam overkill lines there!) cause the destiney and stike freedom figures are freakin' incredible compared to there horrid 1/100 model kits.

Hum hum... as what I have expected, Destiny will come to the Fix line after Strike Freedom. Unfortunately, I feel a little dissappointed with the FIX Destiny. It seem like a little bit flat on the chest and knee just like Fix Freedom do. Don't you think so?

the wings look untouched in design - something unexpected after the wings of CR freedom and CR strike freedom were designed short. the design of the chest is somewhat "flattish" which is a common trend in both freedom and sfreedom as well... i wouldnt bite on this one until i see finished prototype pics itself...

I personally can't wait til this figure comes out. I actually loved how both the Freedom and Strike Freedom turned out (although the wings were a bit too short to be honest). I've seen a painted prototype of this figure on another hobby mag scan and it looks kick ass!! If by chance they include the famous/infamous "Wings of Light" for this figure, I'd say it's pretty much a must buy as far as I'm concerned. It'll look super next to the reported Cosmic Region Infinite Justice that's coming out this summer.
