T'was about time that I took some decent shots of RX-78-2 Gundam Ver.ONE YEAR WAR 0079 so here they are and you can see these together with the previous shots in the Gallery.
Wanted to hold off on this post for a while as the 40 or so Naru pics below are still on the top page but I couldn't wait! If you are considering this MG - it is a fine model and very well articulated.

Gundam tries to be a gentleman and cover his eyes in front of Naru in her bikini. But we all know that Gundam doesn't look out from his eyes - he looks out from his mono eye at the top of his head. The cheeky monkey.

Yeah, the Rx-78-2.This thing is actually more posable than the newer Master Grades out.All master grades pale in comparison to this!Any ways this thing is awsome and I can't wait to get it!

Now now Larry lets not jump the gun here. The Mk II Ver. 2 is extremely poseable as well. Although the Gundam O.Y.W Ver. is the first to have such beautiful engenering out of the MGs so it has my respect.

Also Danny the colors on the Gundam look to be a bit grainy, was that because of the camera? Or is the paint a little funny? Or perhaps you ment it to be that way?

hey Danny, nice gundam. I'm planning to get that model after I finish building my PG Strike Rouge. That reminds me, what colours do you use for your gundams (Strike and RX-78)? I don't want to mess up my gundam for I'm still quite an amateur.

Hiya. Have to admit this is some piece of art. I like the super fine details such as the inking. Just wanna ask where to get those fine refillable pens because i ve seen some modellers with them. They re super fine metal nibs which has no way of wearing unlike the gundam markers.
I would like to get hold of one of these oyw kits someday. im also currently building my rouge, then i got a strike freedom lightning edition to build and a pg wing custom 0 too. Very busy in the next few months. Ive been hooked onto advance of zeta and the zeta gundams atm.

Hi, I'm going get a rx-78 gundam ver. Ka and I liked the colors you used. I looked at your paints and for this gundam did you use gundam spray red(for gundam and Guncannon), Mr. Color spray cobalt blue, and tamiya chrome yellow? Thanks!

I like the OYW Gundam. Y'know, instead of making a Ver 2.0 for RX 78-2, Bandai just decided to re-release this in mainstream animation colors.

Dear Danny im new to the modeling gener although i have been and old school anime fan, ultraman,g-force,tranzor-z hahaha!
i need to ask a few questions if you dont mind first i just bought the RX78-2 Gundam from the one year war like in your posts that cause excessive drooling! just so you know and im a bit confused on the color to paint the eyes. Alot of sites list a paint pen called gundam marker eye green? by gunez, i beleive its color code is gm_09 i saw it at this link (http://www.toyking.com.tw/shop/main3e.asp?categoryid=297&Style=2&page=2) would you please check this, im new to it all and i dont want to trash my first model. It says its oil based glow in the dark? is that the right color to buy as this is the other link for another one(http://shop.vendio.com/JapanToyUsa/item/908554039/?s=1185962402) see what i mean two different looking pens same color code gm_09 but they look different in appearance... is it better to use the glow one? that is oil based or where can i find one water based? im sorry to hassel you with this question and i appreciate your input.

thanks sadi m. pekerol III
