Cool intro Danny! Im glad to see your showing more anime. Thanks to you I went out and bought myself a Ipod video lol.

I watched this drama some weeks ago, I saw the 11 episodes in less than a week ! it's really funny and the otaku's gimmics are all there ! And Hermes is so KAWAIIIIIIIIIII !

that was a cool a anime intro makes me want to get a ipod!!!

Now that was pretty great. What are using to pump out the audio from your iPod?

Yep the drama is a definite must watch for any otaku, or plain anime fans. BTW what the file size for a converted and ipod video compatible video would be? Your video is luring me to buy a ipod video. T___T

On a side note I found this today while randomly surfing: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2136713108867535619 "For fans of the acclaimed Japanese drama Densha Otoko. A Japanese variety show films random otaku in Akihabara via hidden cameras to find real-life versions of the protagonist in the drama" It was actually quite funny to watch!

See! Real otaku are proper wierdo's :D

Just finished reading the english translations of the original bbs logs and it really good, some halarious bits. I'm off to buy the dvd!

Damn it!You people in Japan are lucky, this has to be the best drama I've seen yet!

Nice, sounds like fun. I was wondering are you doing something to the videos. Because usually when someone records something off the monitor they get lines going over due to the difference in frequencies. I don't know if it’s the same with new iPod. :-)

Hey, Boris, Have not done anything in particular when encoding. I use iSquint to batch encode my anime. You sometimes may see swirly lines on the screen - that's because I stuck a film on the face of the iPod to prevent scratches to the screen.

Boris, that happens when you record off of a TV, becuase of the interlacing or the fields at 60Hz. Computer monitors are progressive, but are gerneally not on the exact timing of 60Hz so you get the lines. If it is recorded off of an LCD, then you do not get any lines.

oh, thanks for the reply :-) I'll keep this in mind next time I take pics at the computerlap. lol :-)

Ah snaps, my last thing got cut off. To continue: Much LOVE for Densha Otoko. I bet it'd even be rather popular if it was brought over here and syndicated for American television. In fact, Asian drama shows could totally be the next big thing if marketed correctly.

Yeah, looks like pretty cool, also the Anime.

I found Densha Otoko at my local borders! I love it!

This was definitely one of the funniest dramas I have ever seen. Really liked it a lot.
I finished watching Densha Otoko a couple of months ago and wished that the opening sequence was an actual anime series. It was very well animated~! ^_^ The drama is really cute and sweet. Its supposedly a true story which is really cute <3
