I know of the manga series Crossbone Gundam but have never read it - but that wasn't a good enough excuse not to get this GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION #0016-a Crossbone Gundam. This is another one which I ended up getting second hand and paid about 7,000 yen for it - at the time it just wasn't available anywhere and found it in a second hand toy n figure store in Akiba. I have the black 0016-b too which looks just as good and you will see it soon ;-)
Just a note about these pics - I had the ISO and aperture setting all wrong which is why some of these shots look a bit dodgy - but could not be bothered to retake ;-)

Will take this opportunity to go over a few things.
Many of you ask me stuff when you post on the site - a mail is sent to me when you do and while I try to get through all my mail, it is difficult to get through all of it - please forgive me!

The Toy Gallery is just huge and will separate it out into different categories when I get some spare time - please bear with me for the time being.

That cloak looks awesome :) Must try a cloak for all my model kits, but only would work on those that dont have things sticking out of its back :( like wing 0 and strike freedom. The crossbone gundam looks cool though. Must check out the manga.

Something not related to this topic, but I heard rumors that the next PG model is Astray Red Frame scheduled to be released in January. Is that true? Can anyone confirm that?

Well if it is true then I just wasted my money on the Strike Rouge...Astray Red is like my favorite above all favorites...

Astray red is old stuff, so they won't be making them i think. Though i got two red frames which one looks cool with two samurai swords. But if theres pg of either astray red or blue i'd get it. Whats the news about astray seed destiny? Well they should concentrate on bringing out bigger size and more advance of z gundams because they re hot looking. And i wonder what the next gundam series would be like ??? :D sorry off topic again.

its possible BUT somewhat too early to release a pg astray - considering the strike rouge was recently released... usually PG kits get released in a ratio of once per year... if there would be a PG astray coming out, news of it would run around since september. and besides, if it were truly to come out the astray would come as a separate kit itself - then bandai would release its "packs"/"upgrades" (flight unit, etc) like how it fooled fans with the strike, skygrasper+aile pack and the strike rouge which has it all.
(ID #34001) Posted on 2007/01/02 01:23
Winn Sevilla in manila, philippines
it would also benefit bandai to release a pg astray as well - considering there are many variants of the astray even with their respective color variants themselves: (red: basic, basic+gerbera, basic+gerbera+flight pack; blue: basic, basic+additional weapons latches, basic+scale system, 2nd L variant, FPS variant; gold: basic, basic black armor, amatu 80%, amatu 100%, amatu mina custom) and so...

So, you paid 7000yen for a 3600yen item that's in stock at places like HLJ?
But I assume you got it when it was scarce yes?

I looked into the Astray Red PG thing and there have not been any announcements about there being one. Unfortunate.

The Crossbone X-1 is truly a wonderful addition to the FIX line. I was really happy that it came with a shot lancer despite that Seabook hasn't used it in what I've read so far.
