Bandai's Fix Figuration series - you either love it for the cool looks and detail or hate it for the (sometimes) badly designed parts. I currently have about 20 from the series - some of them *are* badly put together but most of them can be fixed with a scalpel, hot water and a hairdryer.

This is Blue Destiny Gundam from the manga The Blue Destiny which as you can see comes with the usual armor to change into a different Gundam model. I dont know much about this series at all but I do know a cool Gundam when I see one. Blue Destiny Gundam comes out on December the 23rd.
Scans taken from this months **hobby japan,Hobby Japan**.

Hmm, I wish Gundam was more mainstream over here. We've only got one manga shop near me, at least a good one anyway. This looks very cool though.

Garet are you talking about a shop in Cambridge if so that place sell PG Gundams at twice the price. PLace is only good to look not to buy. Should only buy on line for good price. But only go there for to see it how look in real life.

Actually it's Tokyo Kid in Harvard Square. The prices there aren't that bad actually. But I buy all my models online anyway because it's always a better deal. It's always nice just to go and look around. The real thing is always cooler to look at than pictures.

I own the manga. Its short but sweet. There are 3 Blue Destiny units, the GM-type (the first model), the dark colored Gundam-type (stolen by Zeon, and was re-painted to have red shoulders) and another Gundam type painted in more traditional Gundam colors. All 3 are based on the Ground combat variants of the GM and Gundam. They use a system by the name of EXAM that uses the soul of a newtype to give extremely enhanced capabilities to non-newtype pilots. Unfortunately since it uses a human soul the units can go out of control from time to time and destroy friendly units as well as enemy units. You can kinda call it a pre-cursur to the Quasi-Psycommu system developed during ZZ Gundam.

If anyone has any questions you can go to the site under my name and read all there is to know about everything having to do with Gundam. ^.^

I forgot. Does the Fed stole the EXAM system from Zeon or the other way around. Because I know Zeon has one MS with EXAM system installed (Efreet Kai).

Janesa, the Federation aquired the EXAM through a spy in Zeon, and yes the Zeon EXAM unit was an Efreet customized for Nimbus Schterzen. The standard Efreet focused on close range combat with mostly hand-held weapons, but the Kai had armaments attached to the main boddy including arm grenade launchers and leg missile pods, although the Kai was still equiped with two heat sabers.

I think all of us who live inthe boston areawe should open a shop of our own what do you Garet. Make a shop to Japan standards. With better prices. The reason Tokyo Kid is so expensive is that we're payinf their rent to. Example I can get the rouge Gundam PG for 213.00 online and Toyko kid will sell it for 350 and higher.

Heck yeah man. That'd be great. A shop in Boston that is clean and well kept and has affordable prices. Alas, perhaps it is only a dream. And the only beef I have with Tokyo Kid is their prices, but it does make sense because they're paying rent which in turn sucks for us.

Hey Danny! Did you go to the Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF)? I heard it was between Oct.22 and 30. It would be great to go to a festival like that, especially for a movie fan like me. Many odd and interesting movies. For me it is an undiscovered movie world, that I would like to know more about.
