Getting this might save me during a black out at home! Great scans Danny

I am not that impress with it. I think the hands is turning me off on it. I rather get the the " Bid detail" 1/60 without the light and be happy with it.

Heh heh, pretty cool hah. Can't wait to buy it and put it on top of my Christmas tree. It'll look so beautiful:)Oh yes about the joint thing just paint over it with some Tamiya clear orange, clear yellow, and just enough gold to let the light pass through(just a little tip). For more pics(unpainted) and posability go to: licos.web.infoseek.co.jp/mia/sfle/index.html

SWEET...just a few more days and it will be in the palm of my hand! And Martin Izarry you don't need those lights they're like an extra you don't need to put them in,and if you don't like the hands if you have the Big Detail or Real Detail Freedom gundam then you can take those hands off of it paint 'em gold and place them on the Strike Freedom or you can paint the original hands gold for an easier(and cheaper)way.

Very very nice. I like everything about this except the hands (go figure) I just wish I could get a good scan of the boxart for this thing...the wallpaper I could make would be amazing...

Thanks for the tip Kata didn.t think about that. Now I'm convince on getting one

Thanks Danny! Now it is definitely goin on my Christmas list... actually it's the only thing on my Christmas list. lol

Your welcome Martin Izarry but just incase I reccommend using tamiya plastic cement if there are no lights just incase the parts are a little flimsy holding together.Although I've done alot of looking through these pictures and instuction scans so I'm positive it could hold without plastic cement:)

Wow, it looks really pretty =). Kind of reminds me of Shining Gundam when it goes into the super mode. Is it just me or does the yellow light seem brighter than the "Bandai standard"?

Wow its a nice model when its weathered down which gives it more scope and looks less plain. I agree that the yellow joints should be gold tinted with tamiya paints or something. The intensity of the light can be controlled that way as well. I will adapt to the usb power supply also, just would need some help with wiring all the lights together as how danny mentioned.

Hi Larry Tarino how u paint the gold part with tinned gold or orange colour can you teach me how as i dun understand wats the url about....

Oh man I gotta get that strike freedom, man it's kewl! But does anyone know how much volt it takes? I dont wanna burn it after spending over $100 >.

Hey Jinfeng, the url is an overview of the model unpainted of posability and features. The thing about painting it is that you have to get tamiya clear orange with a little bit of clear yellow and a small amount of gold, but be sure that the gold doesn't be come the dominant color.Their are two other ways you can do this is to 1.Put a thin layer of gold (really, really thin) so the light can pass through or 2.Just get your hands on some Tamiya clear orange (not clear yellow it'll look green)and with a brush or airbrush put one layer of clear orange on the parts that are on the part gates like on the tutorial for busy people and give a second coat.

Really nice piece :D Mine is on its way to my home, it will do a good Christmass gift !
