Was out and about yesturday and just happened to come across a shop selling Gundams. Also just happened to have my camera on me so I thought I'd go in and negotiate to take some juicy pics...

Inside the box of Strike Freedom Gundam Lightning Edition. I didnt look too closely at the runners. I was thinking of laying all the runners out on the shop floor to take pics but that would be taking the pee if you know what I mean...

The parts which should have been clear but ended up like this. Maybe you can make your own clear parts by using TicTac cases?

More Freedom. If you leave something valuable outside a shop in Japan - it'll generally still be there when you come back. Good thing this is Japan or I wouldn't have been able to bring you these shots!

Living in Japan can be dangerous - walk into a modeling shop and you will walk out with several boxes and an empty pocket.

Omg i wanna own a store of my own with boxes and boxes of gundam model kits. I'll go bankrupt if i see this shop lol. Can't make up my mind whether to get the strike freedom lightning edition or not. It looks ok but not great imo. Was hoping for a pg strike freedom but that isn't gonna happen i think. A pg freedom should of been out from the first seed series but instead a pg strike. i guess strike freedom is simple in structure so theres not much point making it pg due to lack of details. That my thought anyway. What do you readers think ???

Hey Kira in the sky for the strike freedom gundam there are two things for the look 1.If you don't like the joints then don't put in the LEDs (no really you don't need to they're not the things that hold the kit together)and paint it to your liking and another plus to taking out the LEDs makes the legs move farther because the wires restrict some movement and 2.If you're good at scratch building you can change some stuff on it.As for me I think its really cool and I would get it no matter what!

Just to reply to some of the readers to my earlier post. Think i will get one, the decal,s would make it more attractive i guess. The lights are what makes this gundam unique, but its just what they made the gold parts with i guess. They can be repainted with a thin coat of more gold like color(enough to let light shine through.) Lol i will be getting this one but still i ain't built my pg strike rouge yet. Its just sitting there under my bed. What do you guys think if i changed the color scheme of strike freedom, say for eg. like strike rouge's (Strike rouge freedom ??? :) )

Dude,I must get my hands on the 1/60 Strike Freedom Gundam.Oh and does anybody know if this uses lightbulbs through out the kit cause if it does use bulbs then putting it on the stand and then turning on the light and leaving it like that would warp and/or melt the plastic, and if you drop it you might have accidentily broken the bulb.If this is true then MAYBE I'll replace the bulbs with strong LEDs.
