Noriko - well here is another Akibakei figure.
As I mentioned in a previous post - Akibakei is where I am spending a lot of my time and effort on - the
figures,
anime and other Japanese geek stuff is actually a market worth 17.5 billion dollars (as reported in last weeks Nikkei Business journal). I already have a piece of that 17 billion and I want more!
In my efforts to get into the Japanese geek mind, I have to reluctantly buy figures like this rather well endowed Kasumi from
Dead or Alive. This figure as you can imagine is selling like mouth watering hot cakes (jam tarts?) The maker is
MaxFactory, the retailer is
Kotobukiya and this will set you back a cool 8,000 yen (about 80 USD guv). There is also an original
blue and there is also the limited edition black version which costs an even cooler 12,000 yen but because its sold out everywhere - you are going to have to get it on yahoo auction japan for 16,000!
If you live outside of Japan, you can get it shipped to wherever you are from
