Its been a while since I stuffed over 100 photos in an article. The last time I done so was when the photos were hosted on dannychoo.com - the server would always go down due to the load.
Now that all article photos are hosted on my Flickr account, I can stuff more photos in one article but need your feedback on loading times and whether you had any problems viewing.

Anyway, starting off with this kit of Sanya-chan.
Was my first visit to a Hobby Complex. Expected to see a lot especially because I heard that GK sellers wanted to display at Hobbycon due to the lack of a Wonfes next year.
While they did have a lot on display, a lot of it was stuff we had already seen in previous Wonder Festivals (all previous coverage here).
Would usually have taken quite a few photos but just mainly snapped stuff we have not seen before.
Before you scroll down any further, I forgot to mention that this article contains many NSFW photos.
Was interesting to see that many of the dealers were handed out "Under 18's cannot purchase" notices and green stickers which were used on the figures Op Pie. While vendors at the Wonder Festival were encouraged to do the same, looks like they were more pro active this time.
This is my most fave garage kit figure - SO RAN. Would love for this to be made into a PVC figure.
They also had a load of vendors selling PVC figures. I saw the Figma Konata in Haruhi costume for about 8,000 yen!
Enough of my babbling - enjoy the rest of the photos. A couple more Hobby Complex posts in the News Items later.
First time here?
If you are new here, you may want to keep up with more of the same via RSS or Danny's other networks. (dont show again)

Also those Strike Witches figures are lacking Eila, wich makes me sad. She didn't even make it to the trading figure series they released some time ago. Danny should use his super powers and summon an Eila nendoroid.

Do you mean the mouse sabers or the saber lily?

Well, I think the saber lily will turn up on E2046 eventually, probably in their gathering line too, but it feels a bit of a shame settling with a recast of saber lily at least...

Surprisingly, there isn't much that caught my eye. Nothing really stands out to me except for the Lucky Star cheerleaders, and the girl in a yutaka with a fan two pictures above that. Most of them had something that bugged me - the Strike Witches' faces, for example.

Another would be the Mizunashi Akari one. I assume it's a kit, but...well, I'm completely guessing here. But even this is only because there's hardly any ARIA figures out there and I'm a complete Akari fanboy. Her face seems a bit off, even if loosely based off the manga covers and not the anime.

AHH!!!!

Finally, FINALLY!!! A kit of Sheryl Nome!!!! I'm assuming it's resin?? Must... Resist...

On another note, it's good to see liquidstone still pumping out their poseable figures. Might use the chance to get a Nanoha to compliment my Fate.

The posable fate and Aegis figures look rather good too. Saber lily and Tomoyo look pretty good too but not must buy.

Dannys choice of Kazami Mizuho from Onegai Teacher was pretty good but I always preferred her subdued teacher look as opposed to her sexy look.
But I guess I should be happy that there's nothing in particular that I want (except Sheryl, tho I would prefer one of her other costumes) as my funds are a little stretched, being christmas and all...

Other figures I want... that Haruka... from the illustration... hair looks a tad off... and the face looks a bit weird... but you can't tell much far off. Maybe its better close up. AND the 2nd Silfa figure, first ones eyes are too big... 2nd one is doing the pose from a very cute cg from the game.

Hmm... I'm assuming the two risque ones I find appealing are kits, so temptation averted. Green tape be damned.

Loaded up just fine, Danny, faster than I could read/browse the photos!

There were a lot of nice figures in there, especially Miku-taaaan. Priecia is nice too for a "private" environment ^^;
Some were very weird too... I saw a very strange SD Saber "doll". Either that or they were trying to make her look chubby? o_o

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! so many resin figures are so damn nice O.O; but price must be much higher than PVC figures, ughuu..

That Carmel-san from shakugan no shana looks so awesome! the only figure of her i think ? :( if they have pvc of her in that pose I would love to buy!

The kannagi figure also looks good.. surely this event will rip my wallet off T_T

Seriously, holy crap.

The strike witches are nice, but...

Those are hands down the best Kan-U Unchou, Saber and Asuka figures I've ever seen. I want that Kan-U and that Saber. D:

Er, anyway.

Load times for me were very quick, Danny. Yay for Flickr. This certainly isn't too many pictures for me. (And I'm on a 3MBit line atm.) The pics loaded faster than I could look at them.

Wow, some really good figures between these taken pictures, which i want to have. The two saber figures looks cute and the figure named Gwendoline with her shining wings is awesome, i think i really should get her, if there is any new chance.

But why is there so much respond to Kanu ?
It seems like there are thousands of Kanu versions out there, isn't there any end to it ?

And I simply loved this one http://www.dannychoo.com/adp/eng/1636/Hobby+Complex.html#image23731, does anyone know her? It's so simple that love it sooo!
Because of the Nanoha fanboy that I am I loved all of her figures.

There were so many amazing figures that I saw and wanted, but realized I could not afford.

I think it would be wonderful to have an event like this in my area, but it would never happen because of the general lack of interest and the prudes that wonder object to the NSFW figures.

There seem to be more and more mecha girls. Even an Eva with an actual human face under the mask.

And just WHEN are they going to release decent Minami-ke figures?? It's just the bear now...

That Akari one is a must get for me and also yay more Saber Lily. That Gwen fig from Odin Sphere looks AMAZING, too bad it's probably out of my reach.

Lol they're releasing the Kuma from Minami-ke but no girls?? I want my Haruka onee-sama (along with probably all of the cast)!!!.

Great photos, I see some figures I like, but the question is: Some way to get them? I mean, also want So-Ran, but find that resin is almost impossible...
