The yummy Karin from comrades at E2046. Sorry it took so long to get to reviewing her.
Rather gorgeous indeed. The only problem with this figure is deciding whether to pose her with her back facing you so you can see her lovely tush n tatoo....
...or pose her with her lovely shitapai facing you.
Which ever way you decide to pose her, you wont get much work done either way.
Stuck a few in the Wallpaper Pool.
Folks interested in getting Karin can head over to E2046 - 140 USD and comes fully painted ready to play with out of the box.
Hair seams don't usually bother me too much but they could have done a better job on sticking some putty or something to cover it up before painting.
Unfortunately, her towel thingy is not removable - if you try to remove it, you will find two big holes in her eyes ^^;
This figure is based on the original art by Shunya Yamashita and you can find more from him at Sankaku Complex. Sankaku also have a few Shunya Evangelion figures up for a gander.

Lovely figure, great sculpt and looks like an amazing paint job. The price is alas a bit steep for me. ^^;; Oh, and about the dilemma of posing her with front or back to you, if you put her in a display case with a mirror back or put her somewhere in front of a mirror/reflective surface you will be able to admire both sides. ^^

That is one fine figure. I wouldn't mind having it (and posing it sideways, that way I get the tattoos and the eyes). One thing I noticed was that she is held up only by half her foot. Won't this cause some leaning over time? If it costs as much as it is, I hope they used something to help fight that problem.

Its definitely a different type of figurine or maybe diff. type of character, lack of clothing aside she is really elegantly designed, i love the tattoo's on her body and the overall design quality, with the exception of that slightly off hair seem on top of her head but i can get used to it. lol!

I thought the base was kind of blah as well, but the addition of legs to the original cold cast bust really made this figure a must-get for me. I love the stylistic changes from the original bust, especially the panties. Could take or leave the tramp stamps, but that's my personal taste.
