This article is NSFW if you do not work in an oppai mouse pad shop. Please only proceed if you are over 18, look over 18, are good at pretending to be over 18 or want to be over 18. If you are reading via RSS, you may want to look under the table before scrolling down.
This is the lovely Yuki Hibarikgaoka from the eroge Buraban. See Yuki in action below.
Received this sample very recently from the good folks at HobbyLink Japan. Retail price was 3,500 yen.
I think the reason why oppai mouse pads have that budge on the top left corner is so that one can place the mouse to one side and admire the view.
Much much softer than the Haruka Nogizaka mouse pad. Very smooth too ^^;;
Here are some other use cases for an oppai mouse pad. Useful as a head rest while taking a power nap.
You know those chilled eye pads that you stick in the refrigerator? The oppai mouse pad also doubles as an eye treatment product too - takes the strain away from tired eyes.
Her tanima is incredibly soft ^^;
"Tanima" [谷間] = "cleavage" - good Japanese word to know for folks who are first visiting Japan.
Oppai mouse pad also triples as a finger exercising product. Why risk breaking your fingers typing - strengthen your fingers while working.
Speaking of which, Sankakucomplex has more use cases for an oppai mouse pad.
When you first get an oppai mouse pad, you need to train yourself to stop grabbing the wrong mouse. Training is tough and only the strong survive.
The print quality is extremely berry good indeed.
Spinzaku tells me that this is the way he wants to die.
Lulu and Spinzaku take a power nap.
The oppai mouse pad also quadruples as a foot rest. I'm beginning to appreciate the health conscious properties of this product.
For those who want to keep in shape on the move - the oppai mouse pad can be rolled up and carried around in ones coat pocket. Pocket O health. Awesome.
For those who are a bit shy using an oppai mouse pad at work can use it as an iPod/iPhone stand.
Why is it that animals can touch a ladies eyes without being slapped?
Satellite view of Yuki-chan.
And while we're at it, thought we'd take a look at some other mouse pads lying around. Thin plastic ones from Animate. So nice that I went and got another one.
Booooring.
Tecmo's Rio-chan.
Aquiarian Age - don't know her name. Tis my wife's mouse pad.
Comparison with my first oppai mouse pad of Haruka.
As you can see, she has smudged quite badly. Not sure whether this is because she was a 'freebie' that came with a mag and thus of lower quality, or whether all oppai mouse pads eventually smudge? Any Oppai mouse pad veterans here who can tell us?
Yuki oppai mouse pad in action.
And a look at the oshiri mouse pad of Sakura Nankyoku from Penguin Musume.
A bit hard this time - maybe because its oshiri?
Oshiri considerably smaller than oppai mouse pads - stole this from the Good Smile Offices.
Which one of these would you prefer to use at home/work?
Do you use some sort of mouse pad and if so what sort? I only started to use a mouse pad since getting this glass table which mice don't seem to work well with.
First time here?

I have the Yoko oppai mouse pad and I've had it for oh, a couple months I think? It's also becoming rather dirty in the tanima, though I don't think it's from the print smudging but rather dust and dirt build up from my (and my wife's) wrists. I've been wondering if I should try some soapy water on her oppai and see if it doesn't help. You think that's a bad idea?

There's no way i can use a Yuki Bare oppai mousepad around here. I got siblings walking around.

So i choose Haruka Nogizaka, besides Haruka is one of my favorites. I'm surprised they are starting to make oppai mousepads with visible nipples. That's just too extreme for me. Sorry.

Between the mic, the mixer, scanner, keyboard, and backup harddrive I just don't have any room left for a mouse pad. I would get a bigger desk but there is no more room in the room for one.

Dang, glad I read this thread. Was going to get my other brother one.

For the Oppai mouse pads, I prefer them not actually showing something so that I can actually use them. Personally, I want a Kurumu from Rosario + Vampire one but they are sold out everywhere and I can't find any in Tokyo. ):

Yuki pad looks the most interesting to use, especially seen you say it feels softer that the Haruka one, which is the only one I've ever had myself.

I think I would most likely use the Aquarion age mouse pad. It's really nice and just a tad more tasteful than the others. Rio is a close second.

Currently I don't use a mousepad. I had one form Ikea but it sucked really badly. Before that I had a Gateway mouse pad (even though I've never owned a gateway computer). I accidentally threw it away one day but I'm kinda glad I did.

I don't use a mousepad at all - move my laptop and mouse around too much to bother. If I were to choose one though, I'd take Haruka and put her in safe-keeping. Still wouldn't use it - have little siblings walking around. ^^; Well, that and...

Woah - was reading a Sankaku post with Danny and oppai pads for a while, took me forever to realize it wasn't the old Nogizaka article but a new one, so I raced over here ;)

All oppai mouse pads will deterioate with use - I never actually use them. I treat them more like Figures.

I usually get furoku-type ones (freebies with magazines, etc). Getting them Intl is a bit of a hassle - J-list has a few http://www.jlist.com/SEARCH/oppai_mouse_pad/1/

And Amazon JP has a huge selection, but doesn't ship those Int'l, so using a proxy service - Example, Shopping Mall Japan http://shoppingmalljapan.com/ - to order them off Amazon JP might be your best bet if looking a specific one.

Oh no Mr Danny, you're not getting me addicted to one more moe-related product... no no no. XD

I don't use a mousepad right now, and a mousepad like that wouldn't let me concentrate on my computer. :P

But if I had to pick one... yep, Yuki Bare Eyes would be the one.
But I also saw another Oshiri pad I liked very much sometime ago...

As I mentioned on 1 of the other Oppai mouse pad post, they smudge whether its a freebie or its purchased, I have had my Miyako Miyamura Oppai mouse mat for over a year now and its smudge badly, you just gotta wash it with warm soupy water to keep it clean

I'm quite happy with my Razer Mantis mat, it's a fabric mat and it hardly stains. Oh it's also pretty huge (44cmX35cm) and pretty easy to clean too. I'll be probably be using this one for a long time to come simply because I like it so much, I absolutely hate those bumpy plastic mats.

i'm getting this in future.

not too sure about the smudging but i'll hazard a guess. the human wrist tends to perspire a bit and thus accumulate a fair amount of dirt so the smudging could be due to that. it doesn't help that the fabric of the mousepad tends to rub off the dirt.

All gel mousepads seem to get dirty over time from the sweat and such on the user's wrist, especially if you use it for a long time. It generally can be cleaned with a washing, but I don't know if that'd be such a good idea with the printed fabric. I'd like to try an oppai mouse pad myself, but the price tag is a bit high for me.

no no no, I knew you would bring up this topic you have one of these danny.
I personally would not use one. Atm Im using nothing, just the wood ground of my desk... works fine
But the reasons I wont get this are:

1. I cant have "arousing" material around my workplace, including posters and wallpapers, because I get too distracted =D
2. I really dont appreciate those bumps, representing breasts or something like that, because it makes me feel like its pressing into my hands veins and stuff... like there is constantly something there pressing

I guess you have to adapt to that situation

I'm currently using a Yoko oppai mouse pad. When my parent saw it they said nothing about it, I think they're getting used to my Otaku side. ^^;
On the other, I got two of my friend really interested about it and one of my none-Otaku friend to actually order one.
Sent him a link to a bunch and ended up pre-ordering Mizore from Rosario Vampire for him. Well, can't say that a bad choise at all IMO, it one I do like aswell. XD

I'm actually more bothered about the strangely low placement of Yuki's nipples than their exposure... :3 But Buraban looks like a very nice game indeed.

I'm currently using a regular (flat) Shuffle! mouse pad for lack of something more comfortable. I definitely would like an oppai mouse pad for at least some of the health reasons mentioned...

I want an Oppai mouse pad~ particularly one with Yoko on it. They're kinda expensive for mouse pads though, plus I have a a laser mouse for gaming so I prefer hard flat surfaces. Maybe I'll get one for casual interwebs surfing once I get the money or they lower the cost of it.

Oh, the smudge problem.
I have a pad too-the boring one of course.
And it's been quite a long time I've used it. With the same smudge thing that you have.
I think the problem of it is because even though when we're just in front of computer, we still can get sweaty, and that happens to the hand.
The sweat mixes with the dust that is blown to the pad, and mixed again with the dirt in our wrist, which is the one that touches the oppai. When it's still new, it'll be fine, but if this happens for a long time, then the smudge will appear.
I also still can't figure out how to keep the smudge appear at a minimum rate too.
So I think if you really wanted to keep it clean, then put a long gloves that covers the wrist to keep the sweat out from mixing the dust and dirts, I guess ^^;
