The cutest most adorable Figma out so far - Tsukasa Hiiragi.
Been carrying her around with me everywhere lately.
See clip below to see whats with the Keitai (cell phone).
I didn't really watch Lucky Star - it was the first EP that put me off but after building a relationship with Figma Tsukasa, I feel that I need to acquire all previous Lucky Star episodes. Was Lucky Star on your watch list?
If I was to have a complaint about the Figmas it would be that the hair on the back of the head prevents some of them from looking up.
I heard from many Figma owners that bits snap off but thankfully has not happened to me so far - where have you been trying to insert your Figma into?
Sweet eh?
When you want to express that something is too cute you say "Kawaii-sugi" [かわいいすぎ].
"sugi" means "too" as in "too much."

So for example you can also say "Tabe-sugi" [食べすぎ] meaning "to eat too much."
And so the story begins. Konata and Tsukasa are on the way home when the Gruesome Foursome show up behind them.
One of the gruesome foursome known as Spinzaku nabs Konata - the other three go to nab Tsukasa.
But Tsukasa is a sharp little girl. Her New Type 7th sense tells her that something fishy is going on behind her. Unfortunately her New Type skills are not so New Type and does not notice missing Konata.
But all Tsukasa can see are three men lined up in a row looking the other way.
"Auu"?
Tsukasa continues to play with her keitai. The 3 evil men just about to nab her.
Luckily, Ken just happened to be in the area. And even before he sends the remaining threesome flying he says "you are already dead."
All wars have casualties and Spinzaku had his evil way with Konata.
Spinzaku looks up to see his comrades lying in a pool O blood and shouts "LULU!"
He then hurls himself into the air at Ken and unleashes the Spinzaku Kick.
But Ken is not afraid of the legendary Spinzaku Kick and gets out his finger to hit Spinzaku right in the delicate zone.
The casualties of war - but cutie Tsukasa is safe and thats the most important thing. Thanks to Ken.
During all this time Tsukasa is unaware of whats going on behind her and also unaware of Kens true intentions.
Now that the Gruesome Foursome are out of the way, Ken can have Tsukasa all to himself. Tsukasa's New Type Sense starts to tingle.
Tsukasa jumps up and unleashes the Tsukasa Kick and Tsukasa Finger of Doom...
But Tsukasa is no match for Ken who sends her flying.
Tsukasa is defeated and Ken moves in to claim his prize.
But before claiming his prize, he shows off the "Sample" printed on his boot - Thanks to Hobby Stock for the sample ^^;
While Ken was too busy showing off, Tsukaza was charging her secret move - the Reverse Gravity Heaven Cork Screw. Which sends Ken flying.
The Reverse Gravity Heaven Cork Screw can only be used once so Tsukasa seeks the aid of her daily transport - the metal alloy Goodsmile Tachikoma.
Tsukasa gets in and closes the hatch.
She goes after Ken who is recovering from her previous attack. She shows no mercy and rips him to pieces.
Tsukasa gets out of Tachikoma and does the victory pose. She shouts "Wrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyy!"
An example of "Wrryyy" below.
The press arrive on the scene and Tsukasa does some cutie pie poses.
Hidden among the press is Figma Rin who was Kens lover.
Rin seeks revenge and polishes her kitchen knife.
Unfortunately for Rin, Tsukasa is able to pull off another Reverse Gravity Heaven Cork Screw which takes off Rins head. Tsukasa tries on Rins clothes.
But decides that she prefers her own Winter gear and continues to play with her keitai.
The end.

Their random conversation can be quite amusing sometimes and after a few episodes, you'll just happen to be stuck to it. At least that's what happened to me.

I agree, I only watched Lucky Star because I heard it was good, but when I saw the first episode I was like wtf's the plot, but soon that didn't matter anymore because they have very amusing conversations.

With all those figmas you have, you can easily start a small webcomic by taking pictures of them in various poses.

Haha that's a pretty good figma story!

I would have to agree, figma Tsukasa is really cute. Rin's looking good too! Can't wait to get them.

I would also have to agree to the complaint as well, is really hard to make these figmas look up. A shame really, but one that I'll have to live with I suppose.

yea, look up for figma is hard. They should do something about the neck. And for the long hair figma, you can't really do anything with the head, that's really sad. =(

Lmao! How much time did you put into that Danny? Very inventive. xD I wonder how many stares you would get if you stages a scenario like that in public. :p

Also, you REALLY should watch Lucky Star, quite an awesome anime. The first episode says nothing for the entire anime, so you should really give it a chance.

Yeah, Lucky Star was on my watch list. It was totally hilarious. I just love slice of life series, they're so relaxing and funny at the same time. The first episode put you off?! I can see how that would happen, but you really should watch the rest of it. ;D

In case you're wondering why people often say things about Episodes 1-4 and then 5-end, Episodes 1-4 had the Haruhi director and has a significantly different style to the 5-end episodes (directed by the FMP Fumoffu director).

I'd recommend Lucky Star, especially if you like 4-komas or Azumanga Daioh anime.

Awesome skit :P

Granted the first few episodes weren't as good as the ones after episode 5 with the change in directors, I'll say that the show is one of my favorites. I've heard some complaints from people who didn't like based on the "meaningless" conversations about random things from the characters. I usually point out that they've had similar conversations in real life. A few didn't like that reminder, I wonder why?

Lucky Star was an awsome anime, it's not recomended for watch with yawn, or too late in the night, 'cause it is veery slow sometimes, but, definetly, a recomended anime, every character is incredible XDD

She so adorable, yet it seems not all was as expected, lol. I loved the story Danny xD

Have watched Lucky Star already, my brother warned me the first episode wasn't so great and the 2nd one is so-so as well, but after that you can really enjoy the series =D

First of all: You owe me a new set of lungs. That review cracked me up.

Secondly, Lucky Star gets much better after the first episode (even though I personally thought it was pretty damn hilarious to begin with, but I'm weird like that). Just don't expect anything meaningful. It's just a bunch of slice-of-life gags stringed together mixed with the most otaku-related references since Pani Poni Dash.

The problem with LS is that the first 4 episodes were TOO random, but them they changed the director (or someone) and the anime changed to something beyond awesomeness!

And I lol'ed the whole time during the review, but I've a question. What happend to Konata? She'll return as a evil girl or something? Me wants to see!

I eyed the Figma Konata at the Ikebukuro Tora no Ana store but simply didn't have bag space at the time to buy it T_T One day, I just want to go to Japan for purely figure shopping but I just can't ignore ero doujinshi and all you see >.>

Yep Lucky Star was my anime in 2007. Every year I focus on one anime alone that gets my MOE. And as for the story...WHAT!!! I can't forgive Spinzaku for doing that with my Kona-chan!!! I'll have my revenge on you! lol ^^

No wonder Ken turned to Tsukasa, Yuria is dead now and Ken desperately needs women and through out his life searching he becomes a lolicon lol!

Kenshiro is also in my checklist aside from LS figma's. The 2 others from the Gruesome Foursome namely Spinzaku and Lulu are not.

Lucky Star was on my watch list and I didn't give up even after watching the first episode. It builds up from there and there a lot of hilarious scenes in Lucky Star. I like Tsukasa but I like Kagami and Konata better.
