Haruka Bikini Ver

Its starting to get very warm indeed in Tokyo - the heat is causing me to think about is this years trip to Okinawa. Mirai and Haruka are going to come with me this time but unlike Mirai, Haruka doesn't have any bikini to wear yet.

These are some progress shots that Azami Yuko sensei and I are working on. The base pose of Haruka is her B'day suit (as you saw in this artlce) meaning that its easy to add costumes.
It was only after "researching" eroge illustrations that I realized that characters should be first illustrated in their B'day suit and then have layers of clothing drawn on top.
Above: First up is the roughs. At this stage its easy to change the pose/clothing etc.
Above: Then we do the outlines known in the industry as "Senga" [線画[せんが]]. This is done on paper and then scanned into Photoshop where the layers of color and shadow are added.

The final version should be ready just before we leave for Okinawa - will upload the PSD file when its ready.

The first time we went to Okinawa. We liked it so much that we decided to go every year. We did indeed go back again last year but spent time on the island called Ishigaki.

While we are 95% decided on the trip to Okinawa, we are also considering Hawaii, Guam and Saipan - all not too far from Japan.

Where do you recommend to go for sun, sand and clear waters on the beach? if you have advice on either Hawaii, Guam and Saipan then do let me know ^^;
Are you traveling anywhere interesting this Summer?

Ah, I nearly forgot - Haruka does indeed already have swimwear ^^;
First time here?
If you are new here, you may want to keep up with more of the same via RSS or Danny's other networks. (dont show again)

Only bug I've had for a while is not seeing new paragraphs in Firefox 2.
Kinda hard to explain, but it will show line breaks, but if you press enter twice after a line, you dont see that extra space that the 2nd enter would normally give.

Been like that for a while for me with FF2 in OSX. (I wouldn't see the space above this line)

been there
trust me, if u don't have guts, can't swim, and an otaku, don't go there

there are some good scenery though, perfect for figure shooting
by i mean guts is:
u should do sky boating, or some sport where we equipped parachute and the boat dragging us
if u scared of height, i don't recommend it, because i am
also, i dunno how to go down since i never tried, some friend told me 'they just stop powering the boat and let you fall to the sea
nice, isn't?

otaku shop, none, well, there is, but rare, u can get mask tho, it look really cool, if u were me
also, u can buy burned DVD, also meant pirated video

I love the frills on Haruka's swimsuit. As far as beach locations, I've been to Hawaii a few times and it's a great place to go on vacation. Tons of touristy stuff to do there or you can just hit one of the many gorgeous beaches there and vegetate :D

If u havent been go Hawaii.. lived there for 5 ears and still didn't do all there was to do :D
island wise.. Oahu is a tourist trap, Kauai and the big island(Hawaii) are more countryfied and scenic. and if it floats ur boat.. u could go to the top of Monna Kea where all the big telescopes are.. u can drive up to over 14,000 feet, 4km.. i guess.. crystal water.. good waves.. u'll enjoy it.. :D

and can't wait for the swimsuit.. and the birthday suit u promise us.. and drool over..:D

Okinawa is great but you really have to talk to the people for them to take you to the normal beaches. "Tourist beaches" are ridiculous. Too bad mine was a company trip and I didn't get to choose or decide anything. I was stuck in knee-deep kindergartener beaches.

Traveling already and not planning on traveling more this year, three and half months in Austria is enough traveling for a year :) Can't give any tips on good beaches in your area though as I haven't (yet) been there, beaches here are nice also though, nothing big but really clear waters and great views and the best, no salty water (as there's only lakes here).

Nice - i always prefer to see nice clean linework to coloured art. Im a bit worried about seeing her in the buff though - isnt she meant to be 14 or something?
Im not going anywhere in the summer (i hate the heat!), but ive just booked a month in China with a mate for October. Hong kong, Guilin/ Yangshuo, Beijing and Shanghai! Cant wait!
Be sure to take tons of pics when you go to Okinawa - id be intrested to see what its like there. Id love to go there when i eventually go on a proper wandering trip of Japan, insted of the Tokyo magnet just holding us there for the duration!

Danny, If you're thinking about a beach vacation, there are a lot of places in the Philippines where you could go. Boracay is one. It's a bit commercial now some say, but you'll still be hard-pressed to find whiter sand anywhere in the region. :) There are a lot of other beaches and surfing and diving spots.

Aw, she is cute.

We're not going anywhere. My fiancee just kicked off a week long vacation, but we'll be staying home. His son will be staying with us all week, and I think he's going to take him to Six Flags or something (so I'll have the big TV all to myself for a day at least). But nothing else. We had thought about going to the beach, but gas is so expensive. My parents might come up at some point to visit, but I likely won't get to see my little sister at all. My parents are going to Las Vegas later this year, so they're not taking a major vacation right now either, and my sister is working and trying not to flunk out of college.

She's looking great just like her older sister. :) If you're looking for beaches then it's either boracay (it's kinda commercial now compared to years before) or bantayan island which is just near that region. Boracay is a lot more accessible though. Bantayan island has one of the best shorelines I've seen though. http://images.google.co.jp/images?hl=ja&q=bantayan+island
