Next up from the recent pile of SAFS is this "Pastel ink Pop Up Vignette" by Good Smile.
Not much to add as the photos pretty much speak for themselves. Great sculpt and paintwork and they done a great job on coming up with the most cutest face.
The box is huge so expect a big parcel if you have ordered this.
Moetan comes with a gorgeous base that you can see at the end of this article - nice but takes up space. Good thing that Good Smile stuck in a standard clear blue base too.
Her lolipop is removable and so is her right hand where the other hand is open as you can see at the Good Smile product page.
The straps that are flowing from her wrists come detached which you have to slot in yourself - no big deal.
Legs and body is ABS plastic and rest of her is PVC so you should not worry about leaning. Her foot comes with a small metal pole thingy which slots into the book.
When I first came across Moetan all I thought was "avoid jailbait" but found it quite interesting after actually watching it.
Not an expert on Moetan but what I do know is that she started off in some sort of English learning material which is why the anime has an English learning corner at the end - a bit like this one.
And if you are wondering - I think her age is supposed to be 16...
Some scenes from Moetan below.
Since I've been receiving SAFS, the figure collection is growing rapidly ^^;
Just did a rough count of figures and discovered I have about 112 figures - not including unopened SAFS ^^;
Roughly how many figures is you having in your collection? And for those who do have figures - share your pics in the Figure.fm category.

Another feature that I'm planning to launch will let you list your second hand figures for sale or swap - your unwanted figures are another collectors treasure.
Folks looking for this figure can have a look on one of dannychoo.com's trusted partners.
One of these pics in the Wallpaper Pool for you.

I took a peek at the anime and I think it'll be next on my list. Partly for the funny parts, but I also get the feeling that it's too loli... Past eighteen and my conscience won't let me watch it anymore.

16... Ahahahaha...!!!
*Ahem*
...Anyway, she didn't need to flash a leg and a pantsu to be cute. I really feel she's more like Bincho-tan (innocent cute very young-looking girl) than an adolescent.
I love Pastel Ink's head on Lelouch's body... Looks like they are going for some French Cancan dance. ^^;

Let's see, right now...

Including opened, unopened, and ordered, it'll be 84 figures of all sizes. (Or just 81 for 1/8-scale or larger.)

But if you remove the 3 "Star Wars" and 2 "Tomb Raider" figures, it'll be 79 ANIME figures of all sizes. (Or just 76 for 1/8-scale or larger.)

To peek at a few photoshoots:

I showed a friend the pictures of this figure when I first saw it, knew he would like it. It's cute, but a little too loli for me, heh.

And does the figure count include non anime figures? I'd say I maybe have.. 20-30 anime related figures but if we include my McFarlane Dragons.. then about 50~ or so. Throw in my dragon statues and we're talking maybe close to 80 or so... who knows. I don't feel like counting, lol.

I just know I'm running out of room... or I need a bigger room.

Well, she is a high school girl so 16 isn't that far off... but she is being teased a bit because of her height.

Moetan has to be the 2nd most dodgy anime I have ever seen, and I've only seen one ep. Fane one moment, then all of a sudden Tentacle attack and borderline H material!!!

Only Kanokon pushes the envelope further!!!

Seriously, I get the feeling that learning English that was is definitely more interesting than having to slowly work your standard up through hours of reading, composition writing, and other shat. Ah, well. But then it wouldn't make it pass Singapore's child protection laws, to say the least.

I have...

Since i started figure-collecting in oktober last Year, i've already about 70 figures (not any Gashapons or Trading figures) and the number is still raising up. The most of them are from Kotobukyia, Goodsmile or Alter, i love their works, they really have great and amazing looking figures.

That is an exceptionally well done figure. I'm a bit jealous of you Danny. I probably won't get it due to money constraints.

I agree the figure is very very well done, but I just don't like the series at all. I do have to say you did a great job taking picture of Moeton.

Whoaaa! The base is overkill it's gorgeous and quite relaxing for the eyes.

Maybe I should watch Moetan too, when I manage to scrape some time..

The figure itself is really cute, but I don't really like the thing she's standing on and the background.. it's just too much.. puffy floweriness..
I don't really care she's loli though, it's just a figure, I have around 25 loli figures here and some of them are naked. It's not such big a deal.

As for the poll, voted: more then 100

I don't watch anime anymore since very hard for me to spare time watching. But collecting figures is my main hobby right now.
I always love Moe-tan figures, they're always very cute and very detailed. I only got Moe-tan trading figures (will upload them when I finally can upload pics) since I never got good price for Moe BIG figures :(

Dear lord that "english instruction" thing caught me off gaurd.
Moetan is adorable, but I'm passing on her.

I have around 30 figures now, including trading and capsules.

I have about 60 1/8 PVC figures, 3 nendoroids, and a bunch of Pinky Street figures and trading figures scattered throughout the shelves.

About this figure...I think the figure itself was done REALLY well and they put a lot of wonderful colorful detail into that background. But moe characters that look like this are not my thing. She looks like she is wearing a onesie (those one piece cotton outfits infants wear).

(I'm not sure if I double posted my first post never showed up)

I'm not sure, but I think the leg with her stockings down is the opposite. :P

Interesting. 112 figures? Woah! Thats quite a lot. For me I have many figures as well. Most of them are action figures, especially revoltech and figma. I few statues though. Actually cross that....I dont have any....

I did not see Moe-tan, but regardless of that..when did she aquire a Lulu alter ego? Scary, and I don't quite know what to think..

BTW, Danny, and anyone else who may know, I have a question.

I am in no way new to anime or manga, but I am new to figures, and I want to start buying some.

What are good companies (besides GoodSmile because I know that one :), and websites are great to purchase from?

I am going to pre-order the Kaori Kanzaki one from Toaru Majutsu no Index, but it doesn't come out till April, and I want something sooner ^^

So any info would be greatly appreciated!
