Its been two days since the conference and I can finally relax! The only pics I have from my talk was posted in this news item and will post more when I get the official photos and video.
Spent yesterday having a look around this gorgeous city of Hamburg. The buildings, greenery, lakes, rivers and weather are lovely and the folks here are so kind. Need to dash for a train to Berlin soon so I will only leave you with the photos this time.

My MacBook Pro decided to die on me before my talk at the conference. It boots up but there is no video output to the screen or external monitor. It does not boot up in Target mode either. Had stashed many Japan related photos on that machine to post but cant access it now so hope you don't mind the Germany related posts for the next few days.
First time here?

BTW, are you using your lappy on writing this article Danny? If so, then, that means that your lappy's problem wasn't really that big?

BTW2, Nice pics as usual.

If I remember correctly, he bought an Air Book recently. So it wouldn't surprise me if he had both of them along on the trip and just couldn't use the Air Book for the conference since all his info was on the other? This is my guess, anyway.

Danny-san, you looked great in the conference pictures. The posture and gesturing looked exceptionally relaxed and normal, so as long as you didn't throw up right on the stage, I bet you did just fine.

The Air Book was for Hector though. But Hector is/was in Hamburg with Danny, so the chances are big that Danny did hijack poor Hectors Air Book for posting. Well ... you could also use a iPod touch for posting text, but uploading pictures... nope not really. ^^v

Hamburg looks great! It's quite different from other cities I've been so far, like how traditional buildings are preserved but they still look they belong to their places in this modern era. From all cities I have been so far, Sydney and Singapore are perhaps the closest to Hamburg, but only in terms of the neat organization of the city.

Didn't get the chance to see traditional buildings in Sydney and Singapore. ^^

I was there for the World Cup...it was awesome. Honestly though, in my inebriated state, one of my favorite places to go was the Brazilian Drink stand set up in Frankfurt. It was hwat

Haha, you got so lucky with the weather. Hopefully it stays like that for a while. I've been missing the sun already.

Are you going anywhere else in Germany or just stay in Hamburg? Anyways, enjoy!

Been in Germany so many times I lost the count by now, it's a pretty nice country. Though, I can't see myself living there, I'm not to fond of their culture, history or environment.

Nice pictures Danny, the weather looks really nice and it's probably this time around that you should visit Germany or any country in EU for that matter. -_-

No. I have not been to Hamburg, Germany.
[Hamburg, New York, U.S.A. - yes.]
The closest would be Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 7½ years ago.

I'm so jealous, Edmonton is in the same latitude that Hamburg, and we still waiting for the leafs in the trees.

A complete contrast to anime pics and such... LOL.

I've been to Germany once. Love the... how can I say it? The ambience. Architecture and stuff.

But it's like something apart. Kinda funny to see the mix between those gray old buildings with the colorful... erm... spirit of anime/manga.
