i found a roach in my half bitten off bar of Snickers (didn't chew just yet) i never spat so much in my life
KFC's really good especially their spicy stuffs... have tried being served rice w/ cooked worm which camouflage as a rice...ugh.. btw, you're already back in Japan? how's your presentation in Germany?
it's official. Colonel Sanders is a cosplayer. ^^;
bunny outfit next? ('~')
lol, let's hope not <_<
i found a cockroach in some takeout from a chinese restaurant once. havent eaten there since.
i used to hate pig intestines... but i tried it once when i was really hungry.. haven't looked back since. Probably the only part of a pig i don't eat these days is the 'dolphin'
ok first he dresses up as a Maid.. now a samurai what next?! a candy girl?! please god! no!!
A roach? EWWWWWWWWWW...
The worse I had was when I found half
a worm in a sandwich (guess it was in the tomatoes). The rest was in my mouth... (seconds later, in the ground D: )
You messed up. The worm was probably more nutritious than the rest of the sandwich. X=)>
Oh yeah! speaking of cockroaches in fastfood.. I remember having my first (and hopefully the last) encounter with one in a fastfood store... I was at Mcdonalds .. I ordered a Coke float .. cuz I want to win an ipod touch (theres a promo here in the phils) .. and after I drank all of it .. beneath all those coke .. was a cute little kid cockroach ~_~... hopefully I never drank the cockroach
I would visit fastfood restaurants so much more often if their mascots were dressed up like that. And nope, I can't say I've encountered any roaches with my meals at fastfood restaurants... yet. :O
Never seen a bug or something like that, though I have gotten a raw steak when I ordered well done. Most of the time resturants are great.
that is one limp sword...
give him a break, the guys old.
It's an inadvertent Viagra sales pitch.
LOL @ chinko No cosplaying Sanders here, they all look the same through out the year... Have I eaten anything gross? I would say... Ofcourse! I once ate a banana with a maggot living in it... Never ate the maggot though... But I heard they taste like chickin LOL
what you don't know won't hurt you. it's a different story when you open up a fruit and see worms. but then, better seeing whole worms than half eaten ones ^^
wish Colonel Sanders here dress up too. and yes I have found a lovely little insect in my food before when I eat out. usually they don't charge you; but I would not go back next time.
Samurai Sanders = Somewhat cool. I don't think I ever came across nasty food... If I were to discover something like that... Wait. I found a baby slug in some fresh salad that I bought in a little supermarket. I took the leaf out and set the animal free (by throwing it outside, from the window to a little zone with soil). ... Guh.
Note 1: It was a few years ago when I was still in France. Note 2: The slug was indeed alive. It was cute and all, but I decided to not make it a pet and returned it to nature (which I hope was clement enough to let it survive).
Here the Colonel doesn't dress up. Though, I have to say it has been awhile since I had some extra crispy or original recipe.
wow.. winter sonata is a "big" hit in japan..bet those obachans are after the guy...=_=;; but i gotta agree, it's a nice show..
i wonder if i am the only person who read the English in that pachinko pic combined with what danny said thats kinda weird. '_'
Nope, you're not the only one.
Yeah..
Never been served anything unedible before..thank god. Or you have to coun't me mom's broccoli XP
MUSHA SANDERS!! I'd love to see something like this near my KFC. Haven't had any bad experiences lately with dining out, luckily.. knock on wood.
I found a roach on a sandwich on a Mexican restaurant once and never went to eat there after
I've always been suspicious of restaurants re-serving food, so anything I don't eat or touch I do go through the trouble of messing it up so that they just can't turn around and pass it off on someone else.
I found a roach on my bun, noodles, and rice once. All at the same time, I forced my self to puke actually.
Wait till Kenpachi gets out there. Kenpachi Fried Chicken FTW.
I, unfortunately, have been served bad food before: it was at one of those drive in burger joints. I remember when I was a kid I ordered their cheeseburger along with my family's order. However, once I got my meal and started biting into it, I bit something hard and crunchy. It tasted awful and it was tearing up my mouth so I spitted it out as soon as possible. I opened my burger to find a giant piece of dried wall paint sitting with my dressings. I called to my dad about this and we quickly got my burger replaced with a non-paint chip burger. It was bizarre indeed.
Not really. The worst I can remember was piece of hair in a cake we bought ate the supermarket. Although with all the food scandals around here, I'm not surprised if I ate something nasty in the past with out knowing^^"
have heard of travisties that happen in fast food resturants for all my life.. especially chicken places.. come to think of it.. police get even less service in our area.. they order food and the workers spit on it.. or mess it up in some other way.. thats sad though. does this happen in your area too?
A few months ago in the Burger King here some employees put a "roach" (weed) into some hamburgers to two police officers. Won't be eating there.
lol, i wouldn't mind having "roaches" with my burger, not on my burger.
happens to some places round here. thats why i insist on eating at places where you can see them prepare the food, like sub shops...
I remember I got sick over two McDonalds burgers giving me very bad stomach flus. I'm trying to avoid McDonalds as much as possible but yesterday I had one of them Chicken Wraps with the meet being rock hard. Also had a mini Chinese restaurant near here giving me a bad stomach ache after finished eating. As for any plastic mascots nope don't see them much only in Downtown and even then they're hiding.
We don't see much of Col. Sanders at KFCs in USA now, let alone his plastic statue of any kind. I guess he's becoming a thing of the past.
Where is Dragun and his halibut stories when you need him?
I'd like to know that too...
LOL! Classic. ^^
ugh, not a bug person. the thought of something like that in my food makes me want to ralph. >_<
A lot of folk just have the darndest luck with things, and my thing with luck is I have been fortunate to receive good food service throughout my years. I won't eat KFC anymore due to their treatment of chickens, and it is the same with the fast food industry as a whole. I ain't a veggy- God I love meat. But the sloppy way of work kind of irritates me, and the food is LOADED with preservatives so I avoid it at all costs. I will eat Subway ^^. It is delicious.
I forgot to answer the question! They dress up Colonel Sanders in classic style around here. LOL @ the maid dress, I didn't notice that!
Thanks actually pretty cool, why cant the rest of the world think of these wacky ides... Got to give to the Japanese for the Marketing style.
No roach but I was food poisoned just about a week ago. Four of my friends who ate at the same restaurant also got sick.. >_< Some mixed rice restaurants are indeed dodgy.
Not bad colonel!
Only in japan again. The colonel is boring in our area. heheh. I wish we had golden week back at home as well.
Colonel Sanders is now a professnal cosplayer....
COOL! WATHCA! SAMURAI SANDERS! WAAAATTTAAA!
hey noob, you know that button below tab and above shift? I suggest you use it
Looks like he already used it.
They don't put Sanders statues out around here. I don't even see Ronald McD figures anymore. I stoped eatting at KFC a while ago. One particular occation I was the only person in the whole resturant and my order took 20 mins! Plus I think their chicken has too much gristle in it. Never found out if it was true, but I've heard that KFC genetically modified their stock to produce 4 or 6 wings and other tasty parts. Yuck.
they prolls stopped putting statues out because of thieves and vandals. I remember when I was a teen, we usually did that until they started putting chains on them.
Never seen any colonel Sanders at a KFC in Paris. Nor in L.A too!! I guess this is typically japanese. By the way I've taste a KFC meal during my last trip in japan (only once the rest of the time I was in japanese restaurant) and it's definitely better in America or in France. maybe not enough spicy for me.
I will never look at pa"chinko slots" the same way again. We use to have mascots in front of KFC, but people kept defacing them so they disappeared. Guess he took off to Japan instead. .
