Shining Tears Ryuna

After seeing member Super Rats pics of Ryuna, I was so gutted that I didn't pre-order her.
Luckily however, I just happened to acquire her on the day that I visited the Max Factory offices - strange coincidence.
The hair is not as detailed as other Max Factory figures but that could be because they wanted her to look close to how she appears in the game?
The rest of the sculpt is still looking great despite dropping her a few times - but as ABS plastic cracks easily, there is now a crack in her heel ToT.
While Ryuna has a cute face and a lovely pair of eyes, she is best viewed from behind - which brings me to an interesting question - where do you look when you first lay eyes on an attractive girl?

For me its the face (if its in view) and then eyes (the bouncy variety). I think men looking at eyes is natural instinct - its like there is some sort of force guiding your pupils to her pupils if you know what I mean.
And the same question for girls. When I was back in the UK, the girls said they check the face and then the pack lunch - is the term "pack lunch" still used for the dolphin?
Ryuna is from the Shining Tears/Wind series which I hear has good animation but crap plot.
One of these images in the wallpaper pool.
Folks who are interested in this figure can have a look on one of my partner sites. Not too sure about availability though - sold out all over Japan.

For me, I don't look at the face or the eyes...
I look at what's inside, it's the inside that counts no the appearance... Nah, for me, I always look at how the girl is dressed then I look at the other parts... Yea...
And LOL at the last pic!

Bottom. I will admit though that nice bottoms have no bearing of whether they have a fugly butter face or not. I've been fooled before having not carefully tread.

I tend to do an overall scan in all honesty. Face first then the rest of the body from top to bottom.
Of course I got my personal preferences, but since it generally leads nowhere I do not waste too much time on that.

However, if it is about a person that I am to encounter more than once and whether it be about friendship, admiration, love or any other feeling of the same family, attractiveness has to be accompanied with a great personality.
Someone having a rotten personality but looking very nice is still a major turn-off for me ("Shut up dolphin, I'm not listening to you today! Brain's in control").
The inverse is also true. I can easily fall for someone I'd never seen before but with a personality that pleases me a lot (yeah, it exists).
Etc., etc.

same here, tend to scan from top to bottom
then calculate which part is the most attractive and then locked target to that part
usually find most attractive part is the smile, then hairs and of course eyes and then eyes

I have to kick in here as well. Start at the face but the judging isn't complete until you scan everything.

Personality is a big source of leverage though. Women that aren't that hot I will gloss over some of the bad parts because they are cool people in general.

Shining tears? What tears are these? "White tears of joy from the third eye?"

Nice figure - literally. She has a really nicely sculpted body, but the face is a bit bland. I find swimsuit-clad characters a bit boring too.

Face first, the face is most important. After that, it really depends on what they are wearing, lol. Skirts and low cut shirts complicate target acquisition prioritization. Of course, there's also the factor of walking behind someone, and in that case there's really only one target to worry about. Do try to catch the face though, it could be a trap.

I always look at the eyes first - then what shes wearing then her personality :P but i have to say - personality is a lot more important for me then looks - you could be hotter then any porn star but if your as thick as a log id never go anywhere with you. I like a girl who can think for herself. somebody that can put me in my place :P - im not submissive or anything - i just enjoy people trying to boss me around & failing at it :P errrr.....I like a quick wit dont mind the odd snap or 2 now n again & she must must must have long hair - half way down your back is barely acceptable - the hair must reach your ass :P

I did at one point have a girl like that...but unfortunitly things didnt work out cuz something happend in her family & even though I was always there when she needed me she still pushed me away.

I never got over her for 3years & for those 3years i never stopped trying to get her back - its hard to let somebody go if their everything you could ever dream of & more - to me she was my soulmate but her family was obviously on her mind more then I was.....

years have passed & I still think about her - I tried to stay in contact but I dont think she really cared that much anymore as i heard from somebody that she had tried to commit suicide or something.

for somebody that looked so happy when we were together to suddenly drop so far hurts me inside - then i look at myself & realise that Im exactly the same. I fake my smiles as much as the next person does. because people believe in somebody who I strive to be but not who I really am.

& a king doesnt cry in front of his followers.....

oo I have this figure aswell. Brought it quite awhile ago, like almost a year ago.

Couldn't resist when I first saw her, so now she's mine. :P

But yea, kinda strange that with all her features, Ryuna still does look better from the side or behind...

Not sure but i've seen a version of her where her swimsuit is all shiny.

Have this conversation with friends and mutually agree or be convinced that the first thing we tend to see are eyes, if even a glance.

Faces are secondary. A combination of features is required to more completely commit identification into memory.

I tend to better associate names with faces when there's more than just a face to remember :D

I tend look at the face then the smile :P I like smile LOL I feel kinda shy looking into the eyes (the top pair) of people, esp if I find the attractive ^^;

Think the pack lunch means the 6 pack(if any)? (just speculating) Kinda rude to look at the dolphin no? (a bit like looking at the eyes on the chest)
LOL

I'm not very well endowed where the chest department is (;_;) but I do see guys talking to some of my friend's chests rather than than talking to them face to face ^^;

Great figurine, Danny. You're right: Ryuna does look best from behind. The position of her face draws attention to her shoulders, back, and bottom, which are nicely highlighted by her elegant-looking one-piece.

As for me, the deal breaker for a figurine is the face. If the pose is great but the face looks plain or too awkward (low nose, weird mouth, dull eyes, etc), then I'll reconsider my decision.

After the face, I'd look next at the bottom, followed by the hips area, then the legs and finally the chest. I'm not so much of a chest person, since I like both healthy and DFC. ;)

I passed on this figure a while back. Didn't seem to offer much.

I always notice the hair first. I get attracted to girls with long straight hair but not limited to that though, its just a plus. Then if its in view (which most of the time is not), it would be the face, otherwise it would be the butt. Got a fetish for that part. Don't really take into consideration the eyes. I'm more of a hair/butt guy. LOL. Which is probably why I'm attracted to most japanese girls as they tend to have really great hair. ^^
