Now that April the 1st is over in *all* time zones, we can resume with the regular articles starting with the last bit of the Tokyo Anime Fair 2008.
Before we start however, I should probably go over all the lies I've told so far ^^;

The first was Miracle Mirai - thanks to NitroPlus and Azami sensei for pulling this together in such a short time. And thanks to you for deciding the pose. Am preparing wallpaper and will stick it in the wallpaper pool soon.

The other April Fools was the MegaTokyo one. Many thanks to Fred for this one.

Other lies were, Suddenly acquired Candy Girl which is actually a photo taken by a friend of mine, Good Smile Udon, Sekai Days, Irem Zoo, Gundam live action movie (sorry), Zelda movie, and the final one was Tenga Giveaway where I only received 1 sample from Kanojo Toys. The good thing is that Tenga Giveaway post has 173 comments filled with links to health related sites - enough for a life time.

As you know there are readers from all over the world here and I wanted to make sure that everybody got a share of the April Fool shenanigans - not that any of you fell for any of the lies anyway - or did you? ^^;
Back to the TAF. Tis a case O Zeon mobile suits.
Case O Geass mechs.
More Geass mechas. Cant wait until this Sunday afternoon where Geass R2 finally comes back. Been missing the Geass Girls a lot.
Case O Geass goodies.
More Geass goodies.
And more.
The Keroro mecha "God Keron" - a review of this here.
SD Gundams. I know there are many Gundam modelers out there but any of you like the DS range too?
Gundam 00 card goodies.
A close up.
The ship with a name I cant spell unless I look it up.
HG Gundam goodies. Seems like the HG range are getting better in terms of articulation.
More HG goodies.
I must admit I'm behind on my Gunpla - this is a 1/100 and not an MG right?
Exia face kinda small.
GFF Exia.
Hmmm. I think I'm in need of a Bandai office tour.
Gundam trading figures.
Coolsome MS Igloo 2 poster. Has anybody been enjoying the igloo series?
First time here?

uwawa, so many were April Fools' jokes? I thought those which were jokes are Miracle Mirai, Megatokyo and Sekai days. Didn't really care much about Gundam movie or the tenga givaway(which was pretty darn popular too ^^;;;)

Nice touch with the April Fools jokes, I admit I fell for the Gundam live action news because it sounded believable. The others were pretty far fetched. I know a lot of people will be disappointed at the fake tenga giveaway news, but at least we got a thread full of links to dolphin care that'll last a a few months....hahaha

Also, that Guren Nishiki in the display case is looking very nice, might have to pick that up, I didn't like the Lancelot at all when I bought that kit. I hope Bandai isn't going to screw me over again. The new HG line is looking good, I got a 1/100 Exia and a squadron of Overflags, but I'm hoping they'll be making some MGs of the 00 lineup soon. I would kill for a MG GN-Flag or a custome Overflag.

PS. ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!

I didn't fall for the big ones at all but was laughing nonetheless about them. I wasn't sure about the movies though. All in all a good April 1st.

Ah Danny-o, this is my first year experiencing your April Fools. I wasn't worried though as I recall in you startup article you said you weren't in this for $$. Hence my lack of posting except for the doubtful quip now and then.

That Tenga giveaway made me howl though when everyone posted their dirty laundry. How the hell would you go through those for a top 50? Your dolphin would dry up and die.

1st time experiencing your April Fool's Joke also ^^; The one that *almost* got me was the "Miracle Mirai". It's amazing how you pulled that off together with Nitro+ peeps ^^;

Oh, and I really like the final version of the new Mirai. Props to Azami Sensei ^o^/

HG has been getting better and better (which makes me happy, b/c I am not a fan of MG and PG). Although, HG Dynames didn't come with the GN Hand gun, which made me not want to buy it (regardless, I hate Dynames out of the four). Kyrios is very inflexible, and you need a stand (which I stole from my HG SEED stuff) to make it look better...

But Exia is really awesome in HG...'

I hope Geass delivers....

Thank Heaven the live-action Gundam thing was a joke. I was worried for a while.

MS IgLoo was pretty good, though the formula of "I believe in this cannon/tank/MS/&c. even though Zeon R&D pulled it out of the wastebasket" gets a bit worn out. The Zudah has become one of my favorite MS, however. (http://perfectdesignsense.com/martinwandering/giantrobots/zudah/ems-10.html)

Looking forward to MS IgLoo 2.

I fell for Sekai Days T_T

Those two boxes of Lancelot and Guren Mk.II are NOT what I've seen displayed in Singapore. *deep breath* WANTTTTTT!!!!

Exia must have the smallest head of any Gundam-type MS. I really hope Bandai will finally grant the wish of all the Flag fans out there soon. That said, I sort of saw Gundam 00's last episode by accident on Veoh; Ali ended up with a GM-looking thing. I was hoping for something more... well, more GAR than a round head with a visor for eyes. And then they had that classic "XXX years later" that they did to CG as well...

Thanks for these great pictures, Danny.

I would like to comment on IGLOO series, which I watched just recently.
Well, it is good that production is moving to CGI and 3D for mecha and other vehicles :) but still both Zeon's and Earth Federation's mobile suits looked and moved like cheap dolls [sigh] And not just that -- I was laughing my *ss off at the sight of what? 100 tonnes tank almost flying in a rocky desert while dodging enemy's rockets...

My point is -- IGLOO was a step in the right direction, but the animation and story were not that great. But I'll try to watch IGLOO 2 when it becomes available.

God Keron is godly!!!

Query tho, It's common knowledge that the thrones from gundam 00 could combine to make the shoulder mounted cannon on throne eins more powerful, but did they ever combine all 3? as far as I can remember, they only ever combined 2 together.

Bet it's going to be nothing special anyway. The dual combination was just a cable connection...

Of course I wouldn't think or say that... But you really shouldn't elaborate too much on your jokes because making them too realistic shows their imperfection, and then you got the reverse result. ^^;

Okay, I admit that I fall at first on the Miracle Mirai,but as soon I finish the "congrutulations, Danny", I understand, you devil, jeje. You do really good, Danny, I`m impress with your cooperation with Nitro+, really impress XD

But all the other,specially the Sekai Days, and the Zelda movie, are very obviouslly, don`t think?

By the way, a Mirai eroge is a good idea, jaja, sure you also belive it...

GAH! So many lies.... :P
Danny liar liar!
Among all the blogs, I think DannyChoo's is the one that had most April Fools posts...

I believed in lots of them... though most had no impact because I didn't knew the anime, or something like that.

the Gundam 00's look so boring, almost shit :S sure they looked cool in the anime but thats as far as it goes

even an RX series is a lot more exciting. unless the HG Kyrios can actually transform im not gonna get any of them. I hate bland models

wish they coulda put a lot more effort into them - i.e more addons, weapons & stuff but whose to say there wont be a series 2 of Gundam 00????
