Next up are the Revoltech Goodies by Kaiyodo.
I really must make a point of finishing off Gurenn Lagann. Have not come across this in the anime yet. Does it appear near the end?
As with each Wonfes, Kaiyodo stick a load of Revoltech figures out for people to play with. Would all these disappear into peoples pockets if this was done in your region?
First time I played with the saber - very well made indeed. Think I prefer the looks of the Figma version though.
Pocco - the ones on display looked good and just hope that the released version looks good too. Nice eyes.
When I saw the huge poster I thought "YES! Haruka-chan as a Fraulein!" Then I saw this and wondered why they made her look sleepy. Maybe its because of all the dancing? Or because Imber was being a pain to pilot?
Haruka still looking sleepy.
Pocco in battle pose showing you how big her sword is and how white her opanchu are. "Dont mess with my opanchu."
Kaiyodo take out a license to do the Fist of the North Star figures.
"Omae ga sudeni shindeiru" = "You are already dead."

Omae [お前] = you
ga [が] = particle
sudeni [既に] = already
shindeiru [死んでいる] = present tense of "dead."
Use this phrase when you are in Tokyo and don't have money for accommodation. Say this phrase to a police officer and get a free night in jail.
Joints are well hidden in the creases of garments and muscle creases - whats the word I'm looking for?
Cant remember half of the anime but think this is Raoh.
And I dont know who this chap is.
Dont know but I bet he dies.
Could have played with these guys all day long.
The anime title is on the tip of me tongue...
Some of the new Revoltech mechas are looking most coolsome indeed.
Spiky Gurenn.
Macross goodies.
Name that character.
Rei all bandaged up. Do you have a fetish for injured ladies?
Miki also looks sleepy.
Heck they all look sleepy.
Gotta love em Revoltech poses.
Which came first? This or the AT ST Scout Walker?
Max in action.
And a snap of the constant blob of people around the Revoltech Gurenn Lagann case.

If you saw anything you liked, you may want to have a look for some of these on the following trusted online partner shops. And if you have just arrived then you can catch the continuing Wonfes coverage in the Wonfes 2008 category.
First time here?
If you are new here, you may want to keep up with more of the same via RSS or Danny's other networks. (dont show again)

Revoltech for the win! =)

Down with evil figma. =P (except figma saber. she's sweet....Lelouch is okay too.)

My wallet is in serious danger... so much stuff I want to get, it's really frustrating :(

Yep, that "thing" does appear near the end of Gurren-Lagenn, I suggest that you finish Gurren-lagann soon to find out what it is ^^

Don't know if you could see those Revoltechs lying around for a long time here, I don't like most of the german anime fanboys/girls but I believe they wouldn't steal them. (Not sure though)

The first picture, the silvery guy. Don't know his name, but don't need to, BAD ASS. If I asked his name he'd tell me then bash my head in. Course I've never seen the series...

I woudn't say that people would make off with the figures around here, though most companies here wouldn't leave them alone unless they meant to give them away anyway.

I have always been a huge Revoltech fan - the first series was the best but the next gen series after war totally lost the plot & after the first few episodes, i found myself asking why i was watching it in the first place as the story just melted away into something which worked to something totally non existent - needless to say i didnt carry on watching it. i couldnt force myself to waste anymore or my already pityful life watching such crap.

I absolutely LURVE ME Revoltech figures. So addictive to buy because they are each so affordable (unlike gokin mecha figures or PVC). Some of those upcoming designs are amazing!

The "silvery thing's" name gives the show it's title: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, the ultimate iteration of Simon's ganmen.

That Gurren Lagann figure (not the silvery one) must have been the "great impact" (as in great impact into your wallet) one, right? Looks lurvely.

Ah, so many great figures in one place, I can't stand it! I want to check them out myself one day.

"Would all these disappear into peoples pockets if this was done in your region?" Not really, unless the expo was being held at a terrible place.

I want many of these figures, and I'll probably get some if I ever get the chance to. Thanks for sharing Danny, and thanks for teaching some random Japanese to us!

Ah, and if my eyes do not deceive me -- and (perhaps with Danny as my witness) they do not -- that's the foot and tail of Lazengann sticking into that first picture. Oh, rapture!

Don't suppose there's any more info on that one?

I can die happily after acquiring the final GL Revoltech.

The Idolm@ster Frauleins don't look as stellar as I'd expected. Can't overlook the joints no matter how hard I try.

But now it's just a matter of waiting until they're all released...and on my table.

The only one which matters to me. Hope they make a Codarl or Bael as well. heck, even an Arbalest would do!

As for the Macross podwalker, I believe the AT-ST came first. 1983 compared to 85

I'd say the AT ST Walker would be older, the walker was designed for Empire stikes back back on 1980. although was more prominently featured on the 1983 Return of the Jedi. Macross on the other hand started on 1982. ^^
btw lol on the the revoltech clown with the snap on word bubble. ^^

I guess it's for the sake of the world that Singapore never gets anything new to do with figures. If they'd done this here and let the public play with the figures, I can guarantee a disappearance rate of 70%.

Speakng of which, has anyone bought the 1/35 Lancelot yet? How was it?

You really should finish watching it Danny, it is absolutely amazing! Episode 27 (final episode, also the episode you see that figure appear, not as a figure ofcourse xP) is my favourite anime episode of all time.

Also, do you know anywhere i might be able to buy Revoltechs? because everywhere i normally check is out of pre-orders or doesn't stock it. And i need these Gurren Lagann ones.
