I'm glad to say that GoodSmile managed to keep the PVC release of Char Rhouseman looking exactly like the master sculpt that they let me play with back last August.

Many PVC releases look a bit different to the original master due to it going through factory processes as opposed to being sculpt and painted by hand.

Chars eyes have been described around the Japanese otaku blogsphere as "rockets" or "torpedoes."
I've asked the question maybe a year ago so I think I'll ask it again - what size eyes do you prefer?

If you don't want paint coming off on your figure then I recommend that you remove some paint from the battle damage clothing with some thinnner - this is the thinner I use for my Gundam painting.
That reminds me - still need to finish that Gundam Wing!
Char Rhouseman (click to enlarge)
As you can see there is quite a bit of paint to remove. I only discovered that the paint comes off on her skin when I removed this garment for the photo shoot. Some of her torso and eyes where covered in blotches of paint.
Color transfer from garments can be removed from the skin using thinner and a cotton bud - but don't rub too hard as the skin may start to rub off too.

Weapons of mass destruction? more like mass distraction.

I really don't care about size only the shape, taste and texture matter. It also has to be disease free and ripe (aged enough), you don't want to touch forbidden fruit.

    Arousing Char...
Say, Fauna and Airi look great like this. ^^

This and I want to say that I prefer bigger eyes when it comes to 2D characters (size 5 to 6 on the bust chart... remember?) while 5 is aplenty on 3D ones. ^^

Torpedo? You think so? Char seems fine to me.
    I've seen worse, trust me.

This said, I tend to focus more on the shape than the side when I hear about this term... What can be seen in doujinshi such as Blue Eyes (which turn me off greatly).

Yup, big eyes, but realistic ones for my pleasure. ^^

Luv the flowing hair and details. Really gives a sense of motion. If only more figures included extra goods. I wish someone would come out with a Yoko with a fierce stare.

Fauna looks surprising natural on this body. I likey. Airi in my opinion looks better with her own (uncovered) melons.

Believe I choose 4-6 on the eyes scale. Char's are A-ok.

The breast size on a figure depends a lot on how the figure is sculpted so I like both normal and big but not as big as to make abnormal, for example Mirei-san breasts are big and I like them because they seem natural and some figures from queen's blade seem to big and unnatural.

I would really like to get Char but my thin wallet doesn't allow it :( perhaps if she's relaunched I'll get her

    Hi folks,
gsc made with this third shuraki figure a very good job near perfect
but "only" near, because one thing I don't like it so much ,is the painting of her eyes(real one's)this is not made of real colours they take stickers for it.
Max Factory do this often with her figures and it looks like a little bit cheap.

Ahh, I received this lovely lass the other day. GSC has continued with their great quality on their figures however I'm just a bit miffed that she now has a dark line across her torso now as the paint rubbed off waaaay to easily.

Why is AnimeXing selling it for like 80 USD when all the other stores were selling around 60-65? I guess I'll wait to see if I can get a better price when they restock it.

Now I'm really banging my head against the wall for canceling my pre-order at HLJ. Damn, she looks so great! The price is high for making such a stupid mistake. =_=

Will the paint rub off on the normal set of clothes also? Or is it just the battle damaged set?

Wow, nice figurine.. I haven't actually seen the real one yet, but way to go with the head switching =]... Fauna's facial expression and the body's pose looks a lil' incompatible tho.. cute nevertheless..
