Arrived at the press queue to find hardly anyone there and didn't expect to be registered and done by opening time at 10AM.
The press queue at the summer Comike however was huge and took nearly an hour to get processed.

Some dakimakura photos in this article which I didn't sort into the previous post properly ^^;;;
C73 Enterprise (click to enlarge)
This was taken just outside the Panasonic showroom - the queues stretched this far back.
C73 Enterprise (click to enlarge)
Taken just before they let the hordes in. Many circle members started to shout "Kuru zo!" or "here they come!" referring to the stampede of people who the comike staff were *trying* to control.

The ones who are already in are the folks selling stuff.
C73 Enterprise (click to enlarge)
Met up with Azamiyuko-sensei where we discussed plans for Mirai-chan next year.

The rest of the photos are mostly from the enterprise booths - didn't really spend time in the doujin area as there was nothing that I really wanted. I realized that I haven't even read what I got at the last comike which is just sitting on the shelf.

This coverage is being brought to you together with Akihabara News.

Not a fan of anything romance really in general; aside from the part it takes in say Love Hina. I'd rather it take the back seat when it comes to anything, so I generally don't go for anything that's geared towards that first. Hence, why I'm no fan of eroge :p!

HEYYYY DANYYYY! [I have a question]

Have you ever actually talked to any of those females at the shows, like this one posted? I could see how the regular maid thing would be seen as maybe cute, or interesting to some, but with the young ages portrayed and also the nudity, I wonder how they feel about it. Do they tell you it is gross/perverted/whatever, but they are making money at the shows so they don't care. Or do they not even care?

I could see this turning into some stupid "wah wah" ordeal here in the US, especially here in California, but I see many females walking down the stairs in your pictures... so I am guessing it's just a normal thing to them?

Oh my god, so many merchandise from my favorite companies, artists and titles! I see AXL, ALcot, Siesta, Purple Software, Circus, Clochette, FandC, Front Wing, Unisonshift Clear, HOOK, and...is that Giga?

Plus, there are also illustrations of Tony Taka and of Itou Noizi's (I see she went back to calling herself Noizi and not Zatsuon any amore) newest mascot character! She looks like a mix of Alice Parade's Yamane and Lavinia, Shakugan no Shana's Shana, and of Komorebi's Sui. She's so cute as heck! >w

lol i already play eroge that are in Japanese. Able to understand only about 60% +/- though. Don't really use text hookers and translators like AGTH + ATLAS combo.

I don't really actually mind eroge being Japanese forever, the "pulling" force is there lmao.

@radical anime fan

Comiket is held usually for 3-days where each day has a different theme ^^

correct me if i'm wrong but these are the themes that each day of Comiket73 had ^^

Dec 29 - General Audience
Dec 30 - Female Audience
Dec 31 - Male Audience

these means that on Dec 29, doujins that targeted the general audience from kids to adults, from students to salary mans etc., are on this date and there are no adult-oriented doujins on this date

on Dec 30, doujins that targeted the female audience can be found here. if you are looking for Boys Love or Shoujo doujins and any fetish that tickles the female audience can be found here ^^

on Dec 31, here you will find doujins that target the male audience. you can find shounen doujins to shoujo-ai doujins to yuri doujins to hardcore adult-oriented doujins (hentai) to even futanari doujins. any kind of fetish that tickles the male audience can be found here ^^
