Thats crazy. Is there a cap on that? If not then I will be moving to Japan and dumping this speakeasy crap.

I have speakeasy right now, which is what I run my server and home network on. I love their service but I think its a bit overpriced. Im a bit confused, is this offered in America, hehe the site is in Japanese kinda a dumb question. I would so love to have that here.

Hey James, There is no cap on the FTTH - free to download (and upload) as much as one could possibly eat. I was in Seattle for 5 months when I was with Amazon - on a speakeasy line too - paid about $50 for a poxy 1.5Mb connection - complete daylight robbery! My dad is in the UK paying about 50 pounds for a 2MB connection - more daylight robbery! I think sending spaceships with faulty tiles up into space is cool but I also think it would be great if the US spent more money on setting up broadband infrastructure over there.

I heard that you have 1GB lines in Japan too for the same price - why dont you have that? Nice site.

Hi Juscelino, I actually have that 1GB line but 1GB is not really an accurate description - you can have up to 10 machines in the house and each would have a theoretical speed of 100Mbps - adding up to 1GB. NTT advertising the line as 1GB is kind of true but a lie at the same time.

You do not understand how Lucky you guys are, I just got downgaded from a 2Mb line to a 1Mb line because my "noise levels" were too high! :-( ... Right, I'm packing my bags and off to Tokyo, any room in your apartment Danny :-)

up until a few months ago i was paying about $20 a month for a dialup connection. I now pay $133 a month for a wireless 128kb(softcap) connection. South Africa is the slowest (don't have FDDI)and most expensive place in the world to access the internet... it is a bad place to be. Feel me head pains >.

I have to agree with the guy below, I work for "Telkom ADSL" I know exactly what he is talking about!! South Africa is definitly the Highest priced for a poor standard I think, as I have used B/band in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand too.....we just gotta stop "RAPING" our own peoples pockets I think.....
LOL Danny you scammer...
Danny, can you please post a link to the Ntt 1gb line? I can't find any info on their website.
