And just why do I have a snap of the official Star Wars blog header at the top of this article?

Because the Tokyo Dance Trooper video has been featured again! Wonder if it will make it to the top page of starwars.com like last time ^^;

Many of you wondered about whether there was any music playing while I ws dancing - indeed there was and you may have made out an iPod in my hand.
T'was a bit awkward as I was the only one who could hear the music. I need to build a speaker into the armor so that others can hear the music too which would make it easier for them to join in.

Below is the video with some uncut scenes including one of me running across hachiko crossing - was going to include this in the original but didnt sync well with the music. I left the original sound in and removed the music too.
And the original version below which has gained 171,082 in just a few days. Thanks to all who featured this vid on their site. And thanks to all for watching too ^^;

I tend to whistle my favorite anime songs while I'm taking a walk or when I am in front of the computer (I learn them very well before doing so). By this I mean synchronize with the played song.

For example, Tsuki Akari from Darker than Black, Danzai from Claymore, the opening themes of Tales of Phantasia, many old classics like Vampire Killer from Castlevania, most themes from Megaman, and many many more.

Right now I am trying to memorize themes from Shakugan no Shana (such as Hishoku no Sora, Being and Sekka no Shinwa... So great they are!!), but I can easily whistle to them while having them played on my old MP3 player.

I don't mind doing that in front of people, because I can liberate some tension without being too disruptive.

On the other hand, I am not feeling comfortable to dance so I never do, in any occasion (guess that never was in me). Just the feeling of this on a dance floor is already hugely intimidating to my eyes (shyness?); so doing it in public, out of the blue and without music is impossible for me to do.

Lots of guts you have, yes.
It is really nice that no one goes against you while you're having fun, and if that could be guaranteed to me, I feel that I would try too...maybe.

Do I see that well ? You had more hits than the video of the 15 years old Ayumi Hamasaki ! In no time you'll be an icon on the streets in Tokyo..

I'm already looking forward to the next one !

Lol, speakers blasting out music as you cross the street. Then you start dancing and everyone starts dancing, what a wonderful video that would make ^^.

Congrats Danny, you deserve it! XD
LOL, I wish I could do something like this.
Well, I guess it's not that weird to dance without music on the streets here on Brazil.. but it'd still be kinda akward.

People wouldn't mind that much though. I've seen weirder stuff on the streets around here.

I'm moving to a bigger city next year... there are some famous street people (read crazy) that has some strange habits... like this one who walks around with swimming trunks only, and with his body all covered in oil.

People call him "Oil man", and he is always like that, be it summer or winter.

Danny, you should carry and old school beat box and paint it white and carry that around! .. or make a little droid that plays the music.

I like the earlier idea of painting a boom box white or making it look like a droid.

Or just a speaker if possible (gotta work out the power source somehow).

Hey, guess what? your video was on the 6 o'clock news here in montréal, I think it's probably the second most viewed news report! It is part of a segment on web/blog/technologies I think. You can see the reporter blog post here and your name in the last paragraph : http://www.tqs.ca/blogues/jeanmichelvanasse/2007/11/sarko--le-web-et-cie-.php
