I think shes got one of the best sculpts and face ive ever seen, but shes not the best overall ive seen. Theres just something about it that doesnt make me go 'wooooooww'. Those giant sleeves kinda put me off for some reason. I just cant look at her the same way after seeing those bukkake pics!! Nice figure anyway - glad you have a new fave. Ive always wondered what your fave figure was... Which was it BEFORE this?

It's a very nice figure Danny! I especially like those shots facing the sun. Speaking of earthquakes and natural disasters, some areas of Southern California where I live are currently burning due to numerous wildfires, one of which was arson. I would take this one with me too if I had one.
I wish I had the money to be buying figures...presently I don't even know if I have the money to be paying my rent. >.

Nice looking figure, but for some reason it just doesn't do it for me anymore. I still remember seeing the early shots of it and i was like blown away. In a "WOW what pretty looking figure :D". Not saying the figure sucks. It still definitely looks nice, but I think I might have gotten bored of it. !?

Mine just shipped from hlj.com, so hopefully I'll be gettin mine sooner rather than later. my Kureha won't be disgraced with the bukkake treatment, she'll be staying dust-free in my glass case....or will she be right beside by mac...or in my hands 24/7...i dunno, lol, but she'll be safe from little soldiers, that's for sure.

I want one, but I've never ordered figures before. Where is the best place to order from for those of us living in the US. I can't understand Japanese, so I am not sure what amazon site says. None of the other sites seem to have it in stock. It seems I can preorder them from Toy Logic or Kid Nemo, but I am not sure why they are different scale 1/6 & 1/7 different release date too. Are they different versions? I've also heard that you might have to pay import fees. I've never actually had to pay any thus far(on the few occasions I've ordered stuff from abroad), so could anyone tell me how much import fees are and how you pay them? Thanks if anyone is nice enough to answer all these questions.

OH SHI-!~ can't wait for mine to arrive. your photoshoot does the figure justice, danny. she looked kinda bland on some sites and i was kinda disappointed that she didn't turned out as detailed as the prototype cast. but after looking at your snaps, she looks fine to me! ^^

I personal buy most of my figures through HobbyLink Japan (HLJ), but you won't be disappointed if you order from Kid Nemo or such. Don't worry about Amazon. Amazon will not ship this outside of Japan. In some countries you may end up paying import fees. I personal have never had to pay or known of anyone in the states who paid import fees. There are other figures of Kureha out there too. This figure is 1/6. Just make sure you order from a legitimate retailer. Any of the retailers you see on Danny's site can be trusted. If you are not sure about a retailer, ask and I'm sure someone can give you feedback.
I am not as enthusiastic as you Danny about this figure, but I like her enough to have it ordered ^^; Fantastic pictures, I really like the 4 last ones :D

Well, thanks for joining the ranks of Kureha owners! I received mine last week, as you should know if you read my blurb under each post, and the puchi thing when I posted it last week. When I got it out, I held her so gently. She really needed to be held with kid gloves, as she is the epitome of cute/sexy figures. I had no problems with installing the bow, and found the whole cast-off very easy (btw, long peg inside the torso, eh? ^^). I won't really get into too many details here, but this figure is my baby now, and will also never get given such rotten treatment as in that other thread! Too cute/sexy/moe for words! ^____^
the pics are awesome! i just got my kureha yesterday ^o^ too bad i wont be seeing her anytime soon, since i have to hide it from my parents -____-

Arghhh...don't have the budget right now but I would definitely want one! @_@ I had doubts at first but seeing this just cleared things up. Not the best but certainly one of the top tier figures i've seen.

Woweee~~~ Looks like people agree that Kureha is one of the best figurines around. I just got mine last week (skipping the que of other fellow Malaysians, sorry). My oh my, was the wait worth it. She actually arrived later than the expected date, but then, who cares if she's this good~~~ Two thumbs up for all your photos. I guess the bad weather and a sort of old model camera i got here won't ever produce pics of that sort of quality. (additionally, my photo taking skills suck, huhuhu) To those of you out there who got this fantastic figurine, CHEERS!

I want to let anyone who wants to know that putting the bow in can be difficult, but it actually threads through a spot in her hair (while making sure the wire stays outside of the hair) and there are two posts (one in the hand and one on the upper arm). It manages to fit perfectly. By the way, great site.
Well this figure is the best I have seen. It did want to make me go and watching Shining Tears X Wind to see more of Kureha but no way does she look as good in 2d - in fact I think they must have changed her face alittle when making this figure...
she is discountinued already, i think theres no other way to get her T_T. maybe those people like me could write a petition to max factory to beg them for re manufacture ?

Danny, Extremely good recommendation. After checking out your pics.....it makes my hands itch as well to get hold of Kureha too. I have already located where i can get hold of her already and planning to go to the outlet soon to pick her up. Definitely a nice figure to add to my collection. Good stuff.
I'm not sure if anyone else notice this but you positioned the bow incorrectly. Thats why the bow seems fragile. You need to have the bow pass through her hair, her hair has a gap.
Well, despite that, the bow simply is fragile (careful with the wire). Now just to find a high-up place to put her, as she's kinda looking down on you
