Its that time of the week again where we look at the previous weeks articles and news items.
This weeks theme is wallpaper. For those who don't know, the wallpaper tool allows you to make wallpaper of any size. The tool automatically detects your screen size and resizes/crops your desired image accordingly.
But you can also use the tool to make wallpaper for your mobile, PDA or just about anything - you choose the size.

Nice summary, even if a tad picture-intensive this time. I did use some of your photographs as wallpapers (Tokyo at night) but now I have Hollow Ichigo (Bleach, indeed) as my desktop picture. The wallpaper tool works perfectly otherwise. Good job!

@ Henry That kind of stuff can be done with ImageMagick. http://www.imagemagick.org It's pretty advanced, so you might not want to use it itself, but there is plenty of wrappers for it available. Wordpress has it built in for it's thumbnail system. Wordpress doesn't let you change the thumbnail size though, so I installed a plugin called ShiftThis that adds that feature. Henry, Sorry - forgot to reply ^^; The wallpaper tool uses PHP's GD function. I recommend ImageMagick as Cyruz suggests. I'm using ImageMagick for everything now.

I would like to use the "wallpaper tool" but clicking on images does nothing what so ever. Maybe the JS doesn't work with Firefox/Linux? A direct link to the wallpaper would be great ^^

I hang my head in shame! Working as a webdev has shielded my eyes from anything that works in a less than typically expected manner, and here was me expecting to click on the image and have something actually happen... found the fields and buttons at the bottom >_
