I wish I didn't see these Mama Chapp Toy dolls at the Comike...
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
Reason being that they are really cute!
The problem with these is that they are expensive weighing in at about 10,000 yen each. They are limited editions too and if you miss them then expect to pay 30,000 yen each in auctions.
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
The faces are kinda funny and cute at the same time.
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
These are adorable - love their cat poses - more pics on the official site.
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
The name of these dolls are called Moco-chan and seem to be made in limited batches. More adorable sailor fuku Moco-chan pics.
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
The joints don't really show on these due to the clothing...
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
But the joints rather visible on these.
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
Not an expert but this is Gothloli right?
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
These were at the Wonfes too but I must have missed them. If I see any at the next show I will pick one up.
I missed getting a pic of cute bunny version of Moco-chan.
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
And how about some Lucky Star versions?
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
This is the Sotai used (whats a Sotai?)
Mama Chapp (click to enlarge)
The clothing for these dolls are expensive too - this at 3,600 yen!
I know there are a lot of figure fans out there and would be interested in knowing whether you would want any of these in your collection - they are cute after all ^^;

I would really love to have them. I think they're a better alternative than those much more expensive Dolfie dolls.

They're the perfect subjects for my hobby (Photography). I sometimes bore of taking shots of mechas.

    Awwww~ (oops!)

Those dolls are kawaii. Too bad they are on a limited edition, because I see long-term success for them.

I like the Lucky Star ones too and they would be some great gifts for the complete fans of the series.

A sotai is a mannequin. Roughly said, it is what is often used to give characters realistic poses in paintings, sculptures, etc. as it is fully articulated and human-like... and in that case I believe it was the base of every figure you showed us here.

At the price of 10,000 Yen, I would go for figurines instead.

People here in my hometown still can't get rid of the perception that dolls are (just) for girls. When I imagine myself spending that much of money buying these dolls, I just can't stop from laughing about the reasons I need to think of to explain my new "collections" to visiting friends.

I suppose they would be ROTFL-their-heads-off as well XD

Theyre pretty cute, and much more appealing to me than those super creepy lifelike dolls from europe, but i would never get one mainly due to embarrasment! I can go with anime figures because theyre borderline action figures/ sculptures/ works of art, but these are dolls - plain and simple! I dont want to be a doll collector! Im too old and the wrong sex for that :-P

Ah, so cute! I love the priestess ones...but I wish I knew how big they are. I'd buy one, but only if they're decent-sized, at least 12". They're not original enough for me to pay $100 for a 7in doll, plus the only place I can find them is Yahoo! Auctions, and they're generally over 100,000yen there.

At 100 odd Aus dollars they are not really expensive for a 27cm doll.

Are they 1/6 scale or do they use the Obitsu 27cm body?

I pay around AUD 134 - 300 for the Japan made Blythe dolls and around 12-50 for outfits. But it looks like outfits would fit these as well.

I'll be keeping a lookout for them when I'm in Osaka for the toy show in Feb cos these are fantastic cute!

    OMG these are so cute...

I was just browsing around the articles and I saw two cute looking dolls and clicked on it and here I am...

This is why I love this place... You always find something neat, when you least expect it.

I have been collecting a lot of figures but have never tried moving figs with joints, cause most of them were either bad looking or the fact that i saw the joints were too odd for my taste... until today!

It's kewl that you can actually hide most of the joints just by putting on more clothes (ie: stockings, etc)

Here's hoping these are available here in the US.
