holy shyte~ s15 fate @_@ probably these are just expensive toys of the owners where they ride it on the streets once in a while
Most of the car there look like they lack design of the manga/anime charracter they put on there car.
Hahaha the police itasha :') Thanks for the laugh hehe. I wonder how much the figures in the car suffer from heat O_o Some are very beautiful, but some others are... let's say, too much?
Oh! I saw the Nanoha car before in Akiba before. Took some photos as well. Inside was even crazier, a 30+ inch LCD monitor replaying Nanoha over and over again at the passenger seat, and a smaller LCD at the back of the car which does the same thing.
Wohoo! Police itasha! Can we inspect and sit in it too? xP I like what they did with the black Efini FD! The white Honda with Nanoha looks awesome, too! It's really infested with Nanoha ^^;

Do people actually go about in these cars or is it just for display? I can imagine the laughter you'd get over here. Especially from neds.
Wow. I'm in awe of what some people would paint on their car...
lol CARdiche
I wish i could something like that to my car. But then I'd be more worried about having it parked anywhere. And damn, just checked out AutoSalon's site, Tokyo's one is halfway through January. Wish i could go~~
The Fate Testarossa car is nicely done but thats something I couldn't do to my car cause I prefer stock cars
Haha, love that police itasha.
I'd love to attend such an event. Generally Auto Salons bore me to death. I'm not into cars and new models don't excite me at all, and more because I know next to nothing about car mechanics. So when I am in one of them (-by accident- I quickly browse and go away) I wonder what a Fate Testarossa Itasha would do on a Testarossa car... No, forget the thought. If there are stupid ads on cars and Itasha on Police Cars (oopsie)... why couldn't otaku people express their love for anime and games this way?
I have the impression a lot of these belong to people involved in the otaku-oriented publishing business...
the most i saw at my country is the shakugan no shana car.. http://www.darkmirage.com/2007/07/31/shakugan-no-shana-itasha/ pic can be found from the above blog..
I like my cars clean, one color, lowered, wheels, and modded. I don't want something that stares people down while I drive. I'd put a small decal on, but not something that takes up my door.
Wow those are really awesome itasha to drive around.
love that SOS-dan car...
those are some really cool looking cars ^^ i guess the LTO (the motoring department here in the phils) will allow such decals onto a car as long as it doesn't create too much glare...ITASHA! HERE I COME!!! XDDD
i never do a thig like this, is crap!! i dont believe!!!
kinda embarassing to drive a car with pink colors around my area lol....

Wow! Those are some great looking itasha! Wish i could have been there. ToT
is that really a police itasha?
i love the Nanoha-chan and Feito-chan itasha, it so lovely and beautiful... *love* ..
Oh no doubt I would be all over this event taking photos. In fact an itasha sounds nice, I would want a simple one, (I'm more into the tech) however some of these guys (girls maybe?) take it to an extreme =D
Seeing these cars makes me want to do that to mine when I finally get one ^^
いやいやいや、パトカーは痛車じゃありませんから(笑)
Nice cars, so lovable nerds they are. I'd love to have the one with Haruhi in it.
Why would anyone do that to their car... wouldn't looking at it be a burden once he or she (mostly he) doesn't like that anime/manga/game character anymore or prefer a new one?
I remember the previous post of this topic, you even gave a link to a page with more pics of them cars. Some I recognise, such as the first pic. :] No I've Sound stickered cars? o.o?
In the US, we call them import shows, mainly because most of the cars are modded Japanese cars. Then we also have campaign girls, but we call them import models, or umbrella girls for racing events. Itasha would feel right at home at any of the import shows I've been to.
wow some itasha cars have their own carputer in it. really an road warrior otaku =D!
Dayum, very nice some of those cars. Especially the black ones, they accent the colors very well. I bet you get like an extra 100 hp due to the nosebleed factor.
I like the first RX7 (the one with the white rims), but the S15 and Civic are IMO way over the top.
Got to agree... the RX7 is very cool...but I still would prefer the showgirls over the otakus...T_T
Sweet rides ^^, too bad car shows here don't feature itasha, though it would be weird if it did lol.
nice cars must cost a lot of money i would think?
whats that car with side door opening. If i recall only costy car have them lol but that car dun look costy. nanoha itasha looks pretty well especially the civic and that lancer? others dun seem to fit as well though
btw* the SOS dan is really good too ^^
So my cousin just bought a commercial grade sticker machine for his wife's business.... A Nanoha StrikerS mobile is really tempting.
I wouldnt mind a car like those.Escpicialy the ones with Haruhi and Shana. To me its not embarassing at all.I want one of them for my birthday next year.
The S-15 with the body kit and Fate is like mad sexx. I wonder how they can afford some of the cars, the paint jobs, body kits, probably some internal work there too, while buying doujinshi and figurines!? Lucky rich otakus T_T
to answer the question that ???? asked that car is the RX-7 FD-3S. We got the rear drive version.
I though Japanese police use Lamborghini as their patrol car?
I wouldn't mind doing something like that to my xA (aka "ist"), but more on the minimalist side. I don't get all of the window detailing that they've done - it'd probably bug the crap out of me, but a lot of the body work is fantastic! Definitely like the work on the Haruhi/SOS-dan pic (any other photos of the car?). Anyone out there know if these are vinyl decals? I'm interested in know _how_ this is done.
i wonder my country have this kind of "service shop", i happy to "decorate" my car... :p
Simply WoW! Can't wait to get a car. ^^ :D
All, Many of these cars have been modified with the upwards opening doors. Kyoji, Believe that they do go about in these cars.
I'm surprised so many people like Nanoha's itasha - I've seen lots of different itasha all featuring characters from the series, but never ones of say, Belldandy from ah! megami-sama, or similar... Are the Nanoha characters considered far more moe than other characters...?
its a bit late to post these up isn't it Danny? Tokyo Auto Salon news was in English magazines since January from when it commenced.. but I never saw these though! only saw mainly the big powered GT-R's, MR2's, Silvia's and the now popular Kei Cars like the Subaru R1's! I want a Kei Car and get it imported to the UK btw TAS I think is about the same time next year
Sorry.I cannot speak English.
Liberationalist: Tokyo Auto Salon is main for showcasing JGTC circuit cars, high powered time attack cars, drift cars, wheels, new parts, and new cars. Whereas this auto salone is just a car meet. PowerCore: All RX7s were made rear wheel drive. There was no model with a FWD or AWD. Being Mazda's top level performance coupe at the time, it wouldn't make any sense being FWD, AWD possibly. Danny: The doors that go up are called lambo doors. Often seen on Lamborghinis and high end exotics.
haha if i brought my car (93 bmw 325is) to a show with those decals on it i think i would cry in shame, but if i was in japan, heck of they provide ill put them on, now just to fit in there ill need a lambo door kit...
ふぇんりる さん、 猥褻物陳列罪って初めて聞いた^^;日本語でOKです。 AndyboyH, I dont think so. I guess that otaku really like Nanoha.
