I really wanted to follow up on a previous
post about a bunch of sad bafoons pruning a so called hosting company called mediatemple.
As you see from my previous post, I have given these sad people notice that I wish to cancel my account. To prevent them from continuing to charge my card, I changed my card number within my account manager at mediatemple (they don't let you delete it).
Never the less, mediatemple have continued to attempt to charge my card despite what they state in their mail below - "We will attempt to process the card 3 times in a period of 9 days" - 3 times? (see image below). Would you call this 3 times? I wish there was something I could do about these bafoons - like set a wild pack of horned wolves to eat their spleen, or tie the bunch of them up to trees in a dark jungle, pour sugar water over them and let giant red ants gnaw at their extremities until they die. But I would just be wasting more of my time and money if I did all that - besides, its not red ant season.
Two things I missed from my previous post
1. Another webhost that I used was phpwebhosting.com - they had good service to begin with but as time went on, they also started to decline into a filthy pit of steaming cack.
2. The 24 hour support that mediatemple offer is about as helpful as a slap in the face with a smelly wet dogs unwiped bottom. I called up one day and somebody's granny picked up the phone - at first I thought I got the wrong number but after she said in a croaky voice "mediatemple" I thought "oh crap."
She did not know what an "IP" was let alone what a "server" was. That was a while ago so I am sure that they now pay part time grandads as well as grannies to do their customer service.
You have been warned! And I apologize to all the folks who I blindly recommended mediatemple to who are now enjoying all this crap.
Below is the mail that mediatemple have sent more than 3 times...

Media Temple is having difficulty processing the amount of $$9.95
to your credit card ending in 3104. The credit card network
returned the following error message to us:
DECLINED
We will attempt to process the card 3 times in a period of 9 days.
This should provide adequate time to resolve any problems relating
to the card itself. If we successfully collect the amount of $$9.95
no further collection attempts are necessary. Accounts with billing
issues outstanding longer than 10 days face possible account
suspension until the billing matter is completely resolved.
If you believe your credit card information is no longer valid or
you wish to change the card we have on file, you can change
your billing information from the AccountCenter. http://accountcenter.mediatemple.net
If you wish to speak with a customer support representative
regarding this matter please open a support request from the AccountCenter
indicating your questions, and include your call back phone number. http://accountcenter.mediatemple.net
We understand that credit cards periodically expire, get stolen,
exceed balances, etc. Media Temple will work with you and
your specific situation to avoid any disruption in your service
provided we receive prompt communication from the billing contact
listed on your account.
We most certainly appreciate your business, and your attention
