Well, it's mainly the carry-over popularity from Azumanga, but Yotsuba is pretty fun and nutty on it's own. There was a posable Yotsuba figure released as a special some years back (part of a tankubon special edition set), it was about 3 inches tall. This Revoltech one seems to be a bit bigger and of better quality.

I've already preordered one for a yotsuba& nut in my family. Articulated joints = fun time playing, but not too aesthetic for display.
Very simplistic design. This and the fact that it is an articulated figure makes me think it is targeted to small and big children at heart. I tend to view it as a toy... Leave that one to the kids (I also presume it is a girl as boys having that haircut would be weird enough but you never know, actually) and have your costly collector's figures/gunpla safe. ^_^ The perfect gift for your niece, I think, Danny? Yes, the one about to wreck havoc on your figure that you showed us a while ago. *laughs*
...Or maybe not. Yotsuba could rocket-punch her eyes... Not good. And yes, Yotsuba is a girl (Info on Wikipedia)
That actually looks pretty good. The joint dont hinder much as well :)
I like these character revoltechs more than the mecha ones. Initially didnt like them, puny size & low detail esp on the evas. How about a keroro revoltech Kaiyodo ^^
I love it! I'm sure /b/ would be very happy.
Yes Yotsuba is a cute little girl. You must simply read the manga. Its really hilarious.
yotsuba looks so cute *0* the figure looks very funny with the scary face XD
this is relevant to 4chon's interest
is a great character, the poses are great, and the "fully posable" addition is great, good pics danny!

YOTSUBA!!! I don't think I know anyone who is into anime and manga and DOESN'T want one of these!!
I agree, you gotta have one and the cut out would look sweet in my house...lol
not confirm to buy it, if the real thing is nice then maybe will buy it ^^. Recently alot of thing go into buylist need to filter >.
I still consider Revoltechs to be display figures, the whole idea with racheting joints. It doesn't seem to be an issue on the Yotsuba figure however, but many of the older Revoltechs have their joints hidden...which can twist and turn and break if one's not careful. I'll pick her up when I find the manga ^^
I'm sorry but since this site doesn't have any PMs , I have to ask where your avatar is from ^^;
just to ask this, mirai soon/later will become a figure, right? you have any idea if she became a revoltech^^?
That figure is actually quite freaky.
Yep, Yotsuba is a young girl. I think it's her simple, innocent nature that is appealing Danny. Yotsuba is the work of Kiyohiko Azuma the author of Azumanga Daioh. If you find stories about a young child who is odd, innocent and learning about life, you will enjoy Yotsuba. From time to time I enjoy some of the stories, wouldn't say I'm crazy about it. I might get this though. It's always fun to have goofy characters like Yotsuba in my collection. I want one that has "sample" on the front of the shirt. Somehow it fits her personality having on her shirt. ^o^ Yotsuba on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yotsuba&!
Yotsuba is just an innocent embodiment of all that is "genki". I adore my Yotsuba manga, but I can't stand this figure. I dislike most articulated figures. This one especially so.
Everything about Yotsuba&! is great. It is the same person who made "Azumanga Daioh" an I will be shock if you haven't heard about that manga/anime before. I will be getting this with out second thought. I hope they do a anime soon for this series!
Ohh... So it is an Anime/Manga title... All along I thought it was a certain Japanese bun.
It's nice, but not on my b uy list. Yotsuba to me is another slice of life kind of reading that I enjoy time to time. How she acts though puts me off a few times and think...why...why? But it's nice overall.

Yotsuba&! is currently a manga only, and has been for years. It's been around since 2003, after all! Also, it seems that Azuma himself has said he does not desire to see the series animated.
Absolutely love the Yotsuba&! mangas, I laughed pretty hard while reading the 1st volume, I think tears might have started forming in my eyes. Hmm think I'll ponder over the issue of buying it.
her mouth - is quite disturbing revoltech is a good figure company - it made her well
Yotsuba is the mascot character for the expansively popular website imageboard 4chan.org. That's how her popularity grew. But that's all I know about her, other than the fact that she's almost always happy.
Great manga series! Though I think this model is pretty nice, I'd probably wait for some non-balljoint version. As for the manga... if you liked Azumanga Daioh, read Yotsuba&.
Oredi preordered her when she was announced to be Revolteched, the smaller mag exclusive Yotsuba fig that was released years back is cuter though and is very expensive now.
The ball joints really *do* work with her.
She is soooo cute and funny! A definite must-buy!
This one is in my pre-order list too. Can't wait for it to arrive at the end of September.
Yotsuba-to (&) is a manga by the creator of Azumanga Daioh. Suprisingly it hasnt been made into an anime, despite the fact it's probably as popular as Azumanga Daioh 0.0 Figure looks cute, but i dont agree with the eyes, they should be white like in the manga instead of skin tone.
She's soooooo adorable, I totally want a daughter like Yotsuba someday. I read the manga in Dengeki Daioh like 2 months ago (I bought it to get the cat-eared Shana-tan figurine) and I fell in love with it. Though I don't know what something like Yotsuba is doing in DD, it's not really moe at all, it's just cute in a really innocent way that you don't find in today's world much, if at all.
i have been think of picking up the manga for sometime
