Next up is the Gundam stuff from Chara Hobby.
This is a coolsome Musha Gundam mod at the Hobby Japan booth. Always feeling like playing Gundam Musou whenever I look at this.
1/60 scale Gundam 00 mobile suits.
HCM Pro.
First Grade.
More First Grade.
1/60.
Limited edition PG 1/60 RX78.
Cant remember which series these are from - F91?
MG Destiny.
Panty low angle shot of Destiny.
Turn A - looks OK actually.
Would you buy this?
I personally would feel insulted if I received this as a present.
This woud have looked better in the middle of the hall - instead it was kinda left to one side. Poor RX78.
Wooden Gundam.
Gundam Jigsaw. Any Jigsaw fans out there?
Zeon Clock.
More Zeon Clock at 7,350 yen. I want to see a Renpo clock too.
Strike mod.
More Strike mod.
Advance Of Zeta goodies follow.
Never seen this before but I'm guessing Turn-A.
Gundam Diorama.
This is made of paper.
Testament Gundam.
Mudrock - I want.
1/48 scale.
Gouf 1/60 scale.

- has anyone questioned the efficiency in its design? their heads seem to be a little - what's the word? - toad-like...

- i don't understand what's so attractive about them... someone needs to brainwash me so I don't have to look away every time images of them pop up on the screen

What if gundams literally had some nice silkies- what a surprise!

I agree with you danny on the lego-dams, they look like they were made for a 10-year-old, as a toy instead of beautiful posing awesomeness.

@ap, Gundams are the orgin of mecha! Though I prefer Armored Cores~

So much Gundam goodness! The white and blue Strike mod looks absolutely gorgeous. I need to make a list of what I'm going to get.

Lol That giant RX78 looks like he's using the bathroom...what did he eat?

MSN-03 Jagd Doga are the suits you are thinking of Danny. There pilots where the artificial Newtypes Gyunei Guss (green) and Quess Paraya (red). Both are from Char's Counterattack as Zplus pointed out.

I really want to get my hands on one of those "first grade" kits so I can see for myself. Having gotten a better look at them, what are your impressions Danny?

Is it me or does this Musha mod. look much better than the GFF... ^^; If I where to attempt a mod, I think an AoZ suit would be my first choice. I do enjoy AoZ so much...

That gold mobile suit is indeed from Turn-A. It's the Sumo. I actually really liked Turn-A and hope to see more kits from the suits in the series.

For 16187

MRC-F20 Sumo Gold Type, from Turn A. See http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10006740
Danny, you are correct it is turn A.

For 16160 and 16161
MSN-03 Jagd Doga, see
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10024016
and
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10024019
They are not from Formula series, but from Char's Counter Attack/Gyakushuu no Char.

And a comment for MG Destiny displayed, I am not sure is it just me, I see so many ugly nip marks there?

Is it me or the 1/60 Exia looks like its only got 3 fingers? (Or 4 counting the thumb)

Either way, the Noir mods are great, I'm really enjoying the color schemes. I'm considering an odd color scheme for my current Gundam.

I don't know about 1/60 or the FG kits, but I will definitely be picking up 1/144 HGs of both the Exia and the Kyrios as well as the HCM-Pros of them.

I'm also really glad that they're expanding the HGUC line into Char's Counterattack. Hopefully we'll see some F91 and Victory Gundam HGUCs in the near future.

Haven't been excited about a MG since Strike Noir, so not too interested in either the Destiny or Turn-A. Hopefully #102 is something I'll like.

Those Strike Es (it's only called the Strike Noir with the Noir Striker on...otherwise it's the Strike E) with the different Striker packs look awesome. I especially like the Launcher Strike E.

Finally, that Testament Gundam looks freakin badass. Too bad there's no chance in hell that it will get a regular, "affordable" kit (MG, HG or otherwise).

Great pics as always Danny!!!

GFF Shin Musha Gundam totally rocks!

Anyway, I have a question about MG Destiny: is his face/mask molded with the two fang-like splits? or do you have to paint the red 'teeth' yourself?

Those Strike mods were in this months issue of Denkagi hobby. Didn't think too much of them when I saw them either, but I do remember that they were modded from the MG Strike Noir.

The sumo was one of the best units in Turn A. I preferred it over the Turn A, but maybe not as much as the turn X.

And those gundam00 units still have washing machine chests... Guess we'll have to get used to them.

Its really disappointing they arent coming out with Advance of Zeta in 1/100 Scale. We need to see more MG's and less HGUC 1/144. Maybe an MG Astray?

The gold, round looking one is from Turn A Gundam, called a SUMO. There is a gold one (shown in your pics) and a silver one too. Apparently they wear "skirts" to increase the speed of their movements etc.
