Long webpage screenshots on Mac OS X with paparazzi
A designer web developer needs to from time to time take a long screenshot of a web page - when I say "long" screenshot, I mean the type of pages which scroll down beyond the fold. On a Windows machine, I used Hypersnap DX which is a fantastic piece of software - it can scroll any window vertically (not just a web page) and dump the output to a file type of your linking.
When I switched to mac, I hunted high and low for a piece of software that could do long screenshots and finally found Paparazzi - the web page screenshot in this post is an example of what Paparazzi does. As with a lot of other OSX applications - it does crash from time to time though. Without this software, I would have to take and save a screenshot, scroll the screen a bit and then do another screenshot and then go into Photoshop or fireworks and paste the whole thing together - nobody - not even your worst enemies should have to go though that sort of suffering by doing this type of grunt work - oh OK maybe my ex boss *should* - and give him a whack in the kneecaps with a lead pipe at the same time for me.

This is great! I have also been searching high and low for this!
Shame you cant set a time delay before it takes a shot.

This is great Danny - Thanks!
You are right about a setting a time delay - when snapping a page that has flash, you end up with a snap of the animation halfway through.

New version(s) are up...with less crashes and a time delay!. New URL too (linked from the old one for convenience).

(Yeah, I get bored and search for people linking my stuff.)

Thanks for sharing this great app! And for a great website.

But how do you get Paparazzi to include Flash content in the screenshots it captures? I'm running OSX 10.4.3, Flash 8 player, Firefox and Safari.

But Flash content always just appears blank, regardless of time delay used.

Flash capture under 10.4 is working in the local copies of 0.5 (via super-awesome hidden APIs), though I still have to finish up a bunch of other stuff. :/

(Oh man...Last Blade icons! I just had to switch.)
